Stella DeMont, founder of Whole Being Alignment, vivacious warrior
Stella:
Eleven episodes of pneumonia affected Stella between the ages of one and twelve. Yes, ELEVEN different episodes. Always bouncing back, she was never seen as sickly by herself or her fellows. At 19, after a bad sunburn, she woke up to a sudden fever, pain in every joint, and, shortly after the onset, was told that she would likely be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. It was at that point that her real research and search for integrative healing began, but it wasn’t until many years and a Lyme disease diagnosis later that Stella was able to tap into her own true power to heal. Today, after saving her own life, healing from Lyme, and a host of other illness, Stella spends her days helping others get in touch with their own power—their own miraculous body’s wisdom and guidance— so they can heal whatever needs healing in their own lives.

Weekly Challenge:
Drop into this present moment, soften your belly, and notice all of the ways you are supported. I’m dropping into my body as I type. Sure, it’s not ideal to both work and drop-in, but I want to give you an example. My belly is soft, I’m breathing directly down to my pelvic floor (feels like taking a xanax). I feel a breeze—I feel the wind supporting my healing, I feel a soft chair beneath me, holding me. And, under the chair, a floor, and eventually dirt and roots and Earth. Supported. So supported. I have a cup of tea—both caffeine and clean water supporting me. I see sunlight, wondrous, miraculous sunlight… You get the drift, right? Stella says we are always supported, it’s just about getting into this moment. Follow me @sheajackie on IG for any weekly challenge updates!

Show Sponsor:
Thanks to SaneBox for coming on as my show sponsor! Go here to get your discount for being one of my listeners. You don’t even have to put a CC in! If you asked me to name the single biggest workplace time-waster, I don’t even have to think about it: The answer is email. In fact, a recent study found that almost 50% of the time that entrepreneur spend tending to their inboxes is spent on emails that should have never been sent to them or that didn’t need an answer.
I’ve tried to manage the excess so many times, manually deleting thousands of emails, making folders, and unsubscribing to list but it always goes out of control again. When I got sick, I learned that I needed to have an organized, uncluttered life. I need to utilize every tool available to me to lessen my daily stress. However, Being a busy entrpeuner, it’s hard to keep a stress free email inbox. It can be overwhelming, in fact it gave me anxiety just to open my email. I desperately wanted a clear screen so I could streamline, focus on what was important and deal with what wasn’t important later.
SaneBox gave me exactly that. I no longer waste my precious time and energy deleting unnecessary emails or being overwhelmed by a packed screen. Not to mention that the less I have distracting me, the more productive I am.
When I have time, I can open the folders that SaneBox effectively manages for me and read the news and unimportant emails and read newsletters I’m interested in. I don’t miss anything important or that I enjoy! I can’t recommend this enough, my friends. I work more effectively AND i sleep easier at night. Not kidding.
Because we could all use better sleep and more efficiency in our busy lives I worked out a great deal for my listeners.
