    On this episode of Living Beyond 120, Dr. Jeff Gladden and Dr. Mark Young discuss the Coronavirus vaccine.

    They also cover the positive effects of hydrogen use on your body.

    The duo discuss the current crop of vaccines offered by the various pharma companies. They also debate if someone should or should not get the vaccine. They go on to explore the differences between each vaccine, such as storage temperatures, shelf life and dosing frequencies. Then the conversation moves to the effectiveness of the different vaccines and how they affect different age groups.

    Dr. Young and Dr. Gladden drive the importance of taking/continuing the use of vitamins and supplements that support the immune system, such as Vitamin E, Iodine and Zinc.

    Finally, they discuss the risk of death from the virus to those with heart conditions, diabetes and respiratory issues in comparison with those without those comorbidities. They also comment on the possibilities of corporations and/or governments creating vaccine mandates.

    The show begins with a discussion on the increased diagnoses in the senior citizen communities of Alzheimer's Disease and other neurological complications secondary to the government COVID-19 lockdowns. They stress the importance of keeping in frequent contact with the seniors we love in order to decrease the impact of isolation and depression.

    On the exciting and informative episode of Living Beyond 120, Dr. Gladden and Dr. Young would like to welcome special guests Chris Howard, Ph.D (bio-chemistry) and Lynn Howard MD (specializing in pathogenic microbiology and infectious diseases) to the show to reveal the truth about the COVID 19 virus.

    The show begins with the discussion about people fearing the Coronavirus and the misinformation that they have been receiving to make them feel this way.

    Next, they move on to the topic of the faulty testing that is being used to diagnose those with the virus. They cover how the current testing used gives a positive result for the virus when, if fact, the person being tested has nothing more that the common cold – leading to extremely inaccurate COVID case numbers.

    The discussion shifts to explain how a person's natural immune system's T-cells are fully capable of eradicating the virus without having to have the body develop anti-bodies.

    They then discuss the reality that masks are basically ineffective; wearing them is nothing more than a symbolic gesture that we are all in this together. They are basically as effective as using a chain link fence to keep mosquito's out of your yard.

    They go on to explore the development of a vaccine and if it will be effective. In addition, they go on to discuss the possibility of the virus disappearing before a vaccine is available.

    The Hallmarks of Aging - Episode 79 Jun 18, 2020

    On this episode of Living Beyond 120, Mark and Dr. Gladden cover the topic of "The Hallmarks of Aging". They talk about how the aging process in humans has a noted effect on their DNA; specifically, how cells can lose their viability and eventually commit cellular suicide.

    They discuss growth hormone's influence a person's DNA, how proteins hold the key to cellular chemical processes and how it relates to optimal cellular functions in relation to aging. They address stem cells and how they also have influence on the body's regenerative processes.

    Next, Mark and Dr. Gladden shift to the discussion to how people have a preference for a more laid back, luxurious lifestyle and how that impacts the way people age. For example, because of those luxuries, we do not exert effort to walk up a flight of stairs or take a bike ride to the store.

    Getting Back to Normal - Episode 78 Jun 04, 2020

    On this episode of LB120, Mark and Dr. Gladden cover the topic of "Getting Back to Normal". The talk about getting out of your home and getting back on track. One of the concepts they discuss is that of Self-Nudging: the tendency of people to easily fall into a comfort zone and avoid things that require effort – such as exercising. They explain the importance of changing your environment to encourage a healthier lifestyle and associated behaviors

    Next, they explore the question: "What is My Risk to still contract COVID 19?" They reveal that possible future infection depends on the length of exposure to the virus in high contact areas such as a public bathroom or being in close proximity in a crowd. They share that if you are already immune to the virus, you can get back to work, but above all – be responsible.

    They close by discussing the metal health cost of the COVID 19 pandemic. They address the effects of life events, such as losing a job or losing a home, and how that can drive a person into drug addiction, domestic violence or even suicide. They talk about the importance of humans "becoming humans again" and how getting the world back to normalcy will help combat the negative mental effects of the pandemic.
