What To Eat Pre and Post Workout Dec 09, 2022
    Show notes

Every time I make a reel on Instagram about why I would never train fasted, I get all kinds of questions about what to eat prior to training. In this episode I explain why you need to eat before you train and what you can eat depending on how much time you have between that meal and your training session. I also give you some easy examples of what to eat before and after your training sessions to make sure you are getting the most out of your training. If you want more information on this subject, this is something we talk extensively about in the Lift to Get Lean and LTGL-REVIVE programs. I know it's a foreign concepts for a lot of people, especially if you train first thing in the morning. But I promise, you'll love how you feel once you start training in a fed state.

Today on Far From Perfect I'm talking with The Menopause Nutritionist, Dr. Jen Salib Huber. We are talking all things Pre/Post Menopause in reference to eating. She works with women recovering from a life of diet, so many of us are working hard to change our default programming in regard to diets. She breaks down what a diet cycle is and how it relates to women during this time. We talk about the actual definition of pre/post menopause. We also break down keto and fasting and what it's actually doing to our bodies and here's a secret it's nothing good! She tells us what she thinks is one of the most important lessons for women in this next part of life.
