YOUR ANSWER TO FEELING BETTER with Lola Priego of Get Base Nov 26, 2021

Show notes

Well we talk all the time about how to feel good and here it is - an at home test that gives you all the answers you need. So often we have doctors on, and get so many questions regarding blood tests - who will do it? What do I ask for? And thats exactly the problem Lola Priego solved. After a quick stint in medical school, Lola pivoted to engineering, a career that brought her to companies like Amazon, Facebook and Instagram. Lola realized she wasn’t feeling her best, and in trying to get to the bottom of it, discovered there was the need for an easy, at home test with results that were simple and easy to understand. This woman is incredible, and totally downplays her intelligence. I am so excited to be able to share something affordable and impactful with you.

How Ashley Greene and Olivia Khoury are Alleviating Period Pain with Hummingway Nov 24, 2021

Show notes

Actress Ashley Greene and her sister-in-law Olivia founded Hummingway after dealing with frustrating hormonal imbalances. The company’s first product, the Cycle Soother, is a patch that works to eliminate menstrual pain in a natural way, even before it starts. The company also features an educational platform called The Regular, to help everyone discover how to address our unique bodies throughout our whole cycle. The goal is to create something called whole cycle wellness where they take into account every phase of your menstrual cycle (not just the bleed) and de-stigmatize the conversation around it. I hope you enjoy this conversation!

An Epic Ass Episode with Amanda Bacon Nov 10, 2021

Show notes

What was supposed to be a chill episode about Amanda’s new magical cookbook that everyone should own, very quickly turned into a therapy session, as per usual. Amanda is a special one. Moon Juice started very organically, no pun intended, as a means to just feel good. After years of doctors throwing prescriptions her way, she figured it out on her own, using fresh juices, foods and tons of healing adaptogens to put an autoimmune condition into remission. She educated myself on diet, lifestyle, spirit, and traditional wisdom, and saw radical changes in her blood and hormone panels. On paper, she started to read biologically younger, and it was through simple daily practices that big changes were made. Her products are my favorite, especially the supplements - they are bio-available dreams that solve problems like mood, hair health, energy... I take Ting first thing in the am, Magnesi-om at night and will NOT go a day without Super You. Now her new book, the Moon Juice Manual, has compiled all that knowledge. With exerts from incredible doctors, to adaptogenic waffles with chocolate dipping sauce, this book is as healing as Amanda herself. Enjoy!

Topsie VandenBosch Gives Me Therapy Oct 27, 2021

Show notes

Topsie is a really special person. In this episode, she tells us about her background, a lot of it being in social work and various types of therapy. But now, she does something brilliant; she’s a mindset and emotional intelligence coach, specifically giving entrepreneurs the tools necessary to navigate their work, life, relationships and happiness. She believes many entrepreneurs are business rich and relationship poor. So I used this opportunity to get myself a bit of a therapy session, and I have to say, I’ve never felt so seen so quickly. I’ve seen a good amount of therapists in my life, and Topsie just, I don’t know, she gets it. She's a people person in the truest sense of the term - she's just so special - it's a gift really. She’s a great follow on instagram, and has her own podcast called Crush the Mindset that I highly recommend. Enjoy!
