This week Pip is joined by director JIM ARCHER!

...who is of course director of Brian And Charles (featuring previous guest David Earl!), as well as Big Boys (featuring previous previous guests Jack and Jim) and so much more. A lovely addition to the David chat from Wednesday, which will cover a lot of ground and behind the scenes goodness that may have not been gleaned from David's episode. This is a really cool intro to Jim too if you haven't seen or heard from him before, so enjoy and, as said on David's episode, have a nice listen before you go in on that cinema trip! Get that pre-game info... Enjoy!

Show notes

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!

This week Pip is joined by the comic with the golden voice IAIN STIRLING!

This is actually a perfect medium to engage with this episode as you'll likely know Iain from his very familiar voice - as heard on Love Island, for one... But as with each episode (which Iain has heard and that is a FACT), the chat branches out into every direction including the all important origin story, foundation years, paths to glory and current situation. From being a new parent, to times with Hacker The Dog and the childrens TV times, standup, adult references in kids shows and how they're not actually that cool, to everything now including said Island and Gogglebox, his new special Falling Upwards, Taskmaster and beyond! And Twitch! Ace, get yerself involved and enjoy.

Self Esteem • Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip #455 May 31, 2022

Show notes

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!

This week Pip is joined by the incredible Rebecca Lucy Taylor aka SELF ESTEEM!

A huge episode right here, spraypaint-style in content in that it contains so much more than the runtime might suggest. The magnificent Self Esteem joins Pip to talk on all things including creativity, motivation, mental wellbeing, burnout, band psychology, getting ahead of potential comments, catharthis through lyricism, touring and how the terrain is geared towards men, being a "diva" when asking for things, and just so much more which only call for a part 2 in the near future. But without getting ahead of ourselves, let's enjoy the greatness of this one, and go and listen and watch at nearest opportunities. You'll love this episode. Enjoy.
