    Ep 1066 - Let's Cancel February Next Year Feb 25, 2024
    Show notes

A new podcast, talking about IU men's basketball's struggles, might not be what you're in the mood for right now, but that's what we've got. Scott adds some additional thoughts to continue the conversation that we had with Tony in the last podcast, and we chat about some of the problems Indiana is going to have kickstarting its off-season given the state of other programs in similar situations.
Also my apologies for anyone who was expecting a Battle of Hastings reference. Tried our best but couldn't figure out a way to make it happen organically.

    Show notes

It has been a very difficult week for IU men's basketball. Tony Adragna joins the CrimsonCast to talk through the functional and systemic issues plaguing the team, the struggles that the program is facing in terms of public perception, and the overall trajectory of everything.

1063 - The Vibes Are Not Immaculate Feb 19, 2024
    Show notes

Indiana lost at home to Northwestern, so we are here to talk about it. We discuss the lack of enthusiasm in Assembly Hall, the disappointing but not surprising aspects of the team's performance, the difficult circumstance that fans find themselves in, and the concerning lack of clear answers as to why the team is struggling so much this year.

    Ep 1062 - EA Sports College Football 25 Reaction Mini-Episode Feb 15, 2024
    Show notes

A quick hitter of a podcast focusing on the social media announcement from today regarding EA Sports resurrection of the NCAA/College Football video game series. We didn't get a huge amount, but we got some things worth talking about in advance of the "official" announcement supposedly coming in May. The doctor talks through the things he's excited about in relation to the game, but also things he's concerned about.

Ep 1061 - The Chris Dittoe Interview Feb 13, 2024
    Show notes

On this edition of the show, the doctor interviews former IU starting quarterback Chris Dittoe, who played for Indiana football from 1992 through 1996.
Chris takes us through his entire history with the Hoosiers, starting with his high school recruitment, his first memories traveling with the team, the quarterback battles that defined his first two varsity years, and some of the successes that IU had during that period. We also talk in depth about the end of the Mallory era and what triggered it, from the struggles in recruiting to the issues with approach and gameplan.
It's a fascinating window into a critical period of IU football history, and we appreciate Chris taking the time to give us his perspective on how things went during those years.

Ep 1060 - Running Out Of Things To Say Feb 11, 2024
    Show notes

Some thoughts after IU's 20 point loss in West Lafayette. Fair warning - we've gone over a lot of this ground before, since many of the issues with the team seem to revert back to a combination of roster construction, system, and culture. So if you feel up to speed on those items, you can probably skip this episode.
Also at the end - some bonus thoughts on Saturation Theory as it relates to media coverage, pop stars, women's basketball, TV commercials, and media.
