    On this episode of CrimsonCast, Scott and GC start by talking through the varying perspectives in the fan base and the donor base about IU men’s basketball. We discuss the success that IU has had in the transfer portal this off-season, the still-existing split among fans regarding their attitudes towards the program, and what the parameters of success for IU might be this upcoming year.
    We also talk some IU football, breaking down the on-paper success that Cignetti and his staff have had so far and how much of that is likely to translate to on-field success.
    Finally at about the 58 minute mark we tackle some IndyCar related items - the Penske suspensions, the qualifying format for the 500, and the overall vibe of the series headed into its most important weekend of the year.

    The doctor returns from a hiatus to dive into some IU basketball and football content. We look at the developments on the men's basketball roster since mid-April, the projections and predictions starting to come in from various corners of the college basketball analytics community about the team, and what the big questions are that need to be answered. We also talk about the surprising news that Creighton is pulling out of Atlantis this year, where they are headed, and what it might mean for the college basketball landscape.
    Attention then pivots to football where we discuss the attention being given to IU football from across the social media landscape, the talent ratings of the various positions on the roster, and how that might correlate to success in the fall. We also discuss some truly gamebreaking trends going on with college football rosters across the landscape and why the NCAA needs to figure something out quickly.
