Last week we saw Fantasy Suites with the final three men Brandon, Nayte, and Joe. The final three friendships quickly change from “bros into foes.”

Danielle talks about another "bros into foes" situation. Erika Friman dated Pedro Bravo in high school, but it was not the healthiest of relationships. She was finally able to leave the relationship when she left for college and started dating Pedro’s friend, Christian Aguilar. Pedro found out about the relationship between Erika and Christian and his plans for murder began. Episode 148 Bachelorette: Michelle’s Soul Nayte (Season 18, Week 10) Dec 22, 2021

Each week Megan is asking the Final Rose Tarot cards what we can expect from this week’s episode. This week Megan pulled the Aces of Flutes card, AKA the First Kiss card. This card is all about sweetness and budding relationships… and maybe the first kiss of a newly engaged couple!

It’s time to wrap up this season, and this finale feels like a “traditional” season that we haven’t seen in a few years. In this finale we see both Nayte and Brandon meet Michelle’s family - mom, dad, and sister Angela. We also see both Nayte and Brandon pick out rings, and we see an incredibly heartbreaking goodbye. Thankfully, we also see an incredibly sweet proposal and we are so happy for the new couple! We also get a live After the Final Rose, hosted by Kaitlyn Bristowe with a MAJOR surprise for Nayte and Michelle.

Our BIPOC Highlight goes to the one, the only QUEEN Michelle! Michelle has allowed us to join her on her journey and graced us, peasants, with her presence. We have truly enjoyed watching her find love and wish her and Nayte the best in the future (babies and house if they so choose). Michelle is an awesome example of excellence and we all need to embody a little Michelle in our lives!

Each week Megan is asking the Final Rose Tarot cards what we can expect from this week’s episode. This week Megan pulled the 3 of Roses card. This card is all about travel, looking ahead, and progressing in the opportunities in front of you. These readings this season have been scarily accurate.

It’s Fantasy Suite week and we love this for Michelle. We see a date with each of the remaining three men: Brandon, Joe, and Nayte. Each of these men bring some amazing things to the table, she could definitely be happy with any of these men. We also see a rose ceremony that confused the heck out of Bachelor Nation, but was it really a surprise? Or were the signs there all along? We have so much to chat about, thank you for waiting!

Megan wasn’t really feeling that as a theme this week, so instead, she found a very unique case that’s connected to the apple of our eye, Rodney Mathews (who should have been our next Bachelor)! By all accounts, Rodney Marks was a dedicated and passionate astrophysicist research scientist. He was studying Antarctic astronomy at the South Pole when he was mysteriously murdered in 2000. Episode 145 True Crime: The Murders of Rudolph “Rudy” Blythe and Deems “Toby” Thulin Dec 10, 2021

Danielle cannot pass up the opportunity to cover Minnesota murders! Last week on The Bachelorette, we saw hometowns take place in Minneapolis and got to meet the fathers of Nayte, Joe, Rodney, and Brandon.

Danielle covers a father/son murder team from the rural farming town of Ruthton, Minnesota, who were struggling financially. A farming crisis in the 1980s and a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) scheme (centered around the Jerusalem artichoke) had a huge economic impact on many generational farmers in this area of the Midwest, including this father/son duo. James Jenkins was a Minnesota farmer that had been down on his luck; so, he directed his anger towards the bank and recruited his son, Steven, to help him enact vengeance on the people they decided were the source of all their problems.

This one is a doozy, y’all. Riley Fox was a beautiful 3-year-old girl when she went missing from her house in rural Illinois. Her dad, Kevin, hoped she just wandered off, but unfortunately Riley’s very short life would end in a horrific way. Even worse for the Fox family, Kevin was held in jail for her murder, until her real killer is found right under everyone’s nose.

Each week Megan is asking the Final Rose Tarot cards what we can expect from this week’s episode. This week’s card is the King of Flutes which is called the Single Dad. The card describes emotional maturity as managing turbulent emotional tides and learning how to prioritize what means the most to you. We think this describes multiple people in this episode!

The pressure is on because it is Hometowns! The families of our amazing final four all come to Minneapolis to meet Queen Michelle. We get a better glimpse into what makes each of these men who they really are. What we loved the most though, was the diversity in the family dynamics we see on screen - the differing dynamics are things we see in households all across this country. We also see a rose ceremony that breaks our hearts.

BIPOC highlight goes to all the Black dads we saw on the show tonight! Absent Black fathers is a myth, perpetuated by racism and the media. It is so beautiful and important to see the diverse relationships Joe, Rodney, Brandon, and Nayte have with their fathers.
