576: A Sandwich and Some Itchy Head Jun 12, 2025

Show notes

It’s our Father’s Day episode!! Allen is a little rattled from being forced out of his podcast office and his itchy head, but it leads to a story that he wants to add to the list of Kellie’s Ailments.

She doesn’t think it qualifies. Allen is highly disturbed by the use of AI to recreate biblical figures — especially our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With Emma Kelly heading off to college, Kellie and Allen contemplate what life will be like as they get closer to their empty nest phase of life.

While dreaming of future travels, it lead to a trip down memory lane and an unfortunate event — or two — that happened that one time they went to wine country.

It’s official! Allen and Bad Influence Jeff are going to Mexico and you’re invited! This is NOT an official podcast family vacation and there are NO special podcast family packages. But! If you’d like to go hang out, Allen will give you all the details, which you can also find on the podcast’s Instagram page @asandwichandsomelovin.
