508: A Sandwich and Some Happiest Place on Earth Nov 30, 2023

Show notes

Kellie and Allen unpack their 10-day trip to Orlando. So how was that 22-hour road trip to Orlando for Allen and their boys?
After FINALLY arriving, Kellie and Allen and their kids enjoyed non-stop adventures at Disney World, Discovery Cove and Universal Studios. They’ll share their honest opinions about the parks and rides, which could be helpful if you’re planning a family vacation there, as well.
We all know family vacations can lead to some pretty tense moments. Kellie got busted having one with her 17-year-old daughter, while Allen observed quite a few clap backs between random parents and their kids. You’ll hear his top four favorites, plus the lesson he learned in all of this.

507: A Sandwich and Some Eye Rolling Nov 16, 2023

Show notes

Kellie is taking a deep breath and pausing to record this podcast because she’s still got to pack for the Kidd’s Kids trip to Disney World!
As the last house in the cul-de-sac that has yet to add a single Christmas decoration, Kellie is pushing for more NOW while Allen is reconsidering his whole holiday approach.
In listener mail, Kellie and Allen try to help a stepmom with hurt feelings, Allen gives marketing advice to a new business, and after Allen’s recent AWFUL experience at a new vet, a former veterinary assistant writes in to give her perspective. Also, do you REALLY want to see Kellie post her outfits on Instagram?
Allen wraps up the show with a sports bit that -- as he predicted — elicits numerous sighs and eye rolls from Kellie.
Kidd Kraddick founded Kidd’s Kids in 1991 with a dream to make a difference in the lives of children and their families who deal with life-altering or life-threatening conditions. 504: A Sandwich and Some Drama at the Cheesecake Factory Oct 26, 2023

Show notes

Kellie and Allen have been busy preparing their house for company coming from SC, but Kellie still found time to say something sassy enough to make another episode of Kellie Claps Back. This time, she admits to all of it.
Kellie has yet to get a copy of Britney Spears’ memoir, but one excerpt she’s read online has her feeling much better about what was supposed to be Britney’s comeback performance at the 2007 VMAs.
A woman went viral for posting a video shaming a man for taking her to Cheesecake Factory for a first date. This led to Allen finding a poll asking people about the worst places to take a first date, and it’s causing all sorts of drama. Then you’ll hear a list of places Allen took all his Tinder and Bumble dates to BEFORE he swiped right on Kellie.

503: A Sandwich and Some Memoirs Oct 19, 2023

Show notes

A Sandwich and Some Memoirs
Kellie is overwhelmed by the amount of celebrity memoirs coming at us right now. Is it okay for people to tell ALL their business when it can negatively impact the lives of others? Kellie dives into some of the upsetting excerpts released ahead of Britney Spears’ and John Stamos’ upcoming tell-alls. And why are people ready for Jada Pinkett-Smith to stop talking about hers??
Kellie and Allen have barely made a dent in listener emails, so Allen dives back in to answer more questions. If you have something you’d like to ask Kellie and Allen, send it in to Podcast@KellieandAllen.com. Hopefully, you’ll get your answer in a future show!

502: A Sandwich and Some Risky Business Oct 12, 2023

Show notes

Kellie posted an Instagram Story wearing her new heart monitor which led to a lot of concerned DMs. In case you missed the story about the incident leading up to this, Kellie will explain.
On the last podcast, Allen asked for listener questions and the podcast family delivered! In Ask Allen Anything, Allen gives his advice on getting a lazy husband to pitch in with housework, his review of “Ahsoka,” and is asked to make a choice that may or may not involve a diaper.
And on his recent walk, Allen came across a shocking sight that he will share in as much graphic detail as Kellie will allow.

501: A Sandwich and Some Nashville Oct 05, 2023

Show notes

Kellie went on a whirlwind girlfriends weekend to Nashville! What started out as the Nashville 9 became the Nashville 7 and eventually the Nashville 6, but DANG, those girls had as much fun as moms can have before 9pm.
Among the highlights you’ll hear — Kellie got hit on at the airport bar and performed the Go West jingle for a captive audience at a boot store.
Then the focus finally turned to Allen, who is extremely suspicious of all these celebrities suddenly becoming Kansas City Chiefs fans. And after our 500th podcast celebration, there’s some renewed interest in a long-buried bit, “Ask Allen Anything!” It returns next podcast, so Allen needs some questions to answer. Send those in to Podcast@KellieandAllen.com, and you may have your question answered in Episode 502.

500: A Sandwich and Some 500th Episode Sep 28, 2023

Show notes

Kellie and Allen celebrate the 500th episode of the podcast! In addition to the celebration, of course you’ll hear the usual bitchin’ and bemoanin’ of their every day lives.
Kellie had an unexpected root canal today, which led to a supper of prescription strength Tylenol and wine….just like the old days! Allen had an infuriating incident at the veterinarian’s office. But besides all the usual daily drama, Kellie and Allen got to celebrate their 500th podcast with some of their Podcast Family Members who drove from near and far to celebrate with them. You’ll hear some of their favorite memories and also enjoy highlights from the past 500 episodes, assembled by their Wacky Marketing Department.
