Hiding Something

Are powerful individuals actually conspiring to control humanity? Do powerful, all-knowing secret societies actually exist? What’s the truth behind theories surrounding the Illuminati?  Who’s behind a massive granite monument on a remote hillside in Georgia that’s emblazoned with cryptic messages? What’s actually going on in, around and possibly underneath the Denver airport? What’s buried beneath a small island off of the coast of northeast Canada, where researchers have been finding strange artifacts for decades? Why do some of the most powerful people in the world meet in the dense, Redwood forest of northern California to observe a violent ceremony in front of a massive sculpture of a stone owl every summer? Are there symbols and codes embedded in everything from currency to music videos that contain clues to solving these mysteries? This summer, you’re invited to come down another rabbit hole to separate fact from conspiracy theory and find out what’s really going on, who’s telling the truth, and who might just be Hiding Something.  38.46507510260853, -122.99324756806628 Read More

Murder in the Graveyard

Wendy Sewell, a 32-year-old legal secretary, was murdered in the pretty town of Bakewell, in England's Peak District, in September 1973. A cemetery groundskeeper, 17-year-old Stephen Downing, quickly became the prime suspect. Despite having learning difficulties and a reading age of 11, he was arrested, questioned for nine hours without a lawyer present and eventually convinced to sign a confession full of words he did not understand.

Years later, local newspaper editor Don Hale started to campaign over Stephen's conviction, fighting for the case to be sent back to court. Using brand new interviews, Murder in the Graveyard provides a fresh insight into Wendy's murder, as members of the Bakewell community come forward to talk openly about a tragic case that today remains unsolved.

The White House Farm Files: Reinvestigating a British Tragedy

On August 7th, 1985, five members of the Bamber family were brutally murdered in their Essex farmhouse—a crime that would grip the nation and divide public opinion for decades.

In this podcast, we reopen the file. Speaking to experts, authors, and voices from the Jeremy Bamber campaign, we re-examine the evidence, the investigation, and the enduring mystery at the heart of White House Farm

.

Brainwashed

Brainwashed investigates the CIA’s covert mind control experiments – from the Cold War and MKULTRA to the so-called War on Terror. It’s the story of how a renowned psychiatrist used his unwitting patients as human guinea pigs at a Montreal hospital, and the ripple effects on survivors, their families, and thousands of other people around the world. It also examines the cultural impact — how the CIA brought LSD to America and inadvertently created counterculture influencers such as author Ken Kesey and poet Allen Ginsberg. The Murders at White House Farm: The Podcast

On the night of August 6th, 1985, just outside of the picturesque village of Tolleshunt D’Arcy in Essex, England, a shocking attack left five members – and three generations – of a family brutally murdered. At first, the police thought they were dealing with an open-and-shut case, suspecting that it was Sheila Caffell – diagnosed with schizophrenia – who had shot her adoptive parents and twin sons before turning the gun on herself. As one detective set out to prove, however, certain elements of that narrative that didn’t add up – and the spotlight turned to Sheila’s brother, Jeremy Bamber.  In the new companion podcast to the HBO Max limited series The Murders at White House Farm, host Lauren Bright Pacheco speaks with the show’s creators, as well as with Carol Ann Lee -- author of the book The Murders at White House Farm -- and Colin Caffell, the father of the two young boys. Each episode of the podcast takes a deeper dive into one of six nuanced themes that contributed to the particularly disturbing nature of this surprisingly complicated case, providing further context and background for this horrific crime.
