    Yoga Strong

To be “Yoga Strong” is to pay attention to not only your body, but how you navigate being human. While combining strength and grace creates a powerful flow-based yoga practice, it is the practice of paying attention in the same ways off-the-mat that can be equally impactful.

This podcast is a guide for yoga teachers, practitioners and people trying to craft a life they’re proud AF about. This is about owning your voice. This is about curiosity, bravery, sensuality, and building a home in yourself.

    062 - Spend This Day Well Dec 31, 2020
    Show notes

I share about my current feelings of beginnings, signing divorce papers, and the following quote from Louie Schwartzberg:
"You think this is just another day in your life. It's not just another day. It's the one day that is given to you. Today. It's given to you. It's a gift. It's the only gift that you have right now. And the only appropriate response is gratefulness. If you do nothing else but to cultivate that response, to the great gift that this unique day is, if you learn to respond as if it were the first day in your life and the very last day, then you will have spent this day very well."

Mel Beaver found woodworking, didn't know anything about it and turned it into a business. She creates pieces that are useful, decorative, and come with that special touch that only handmade can give. Outside of this, she's a single mother to three children, a friend with those who aren't "faking it," on a post-organized religion adventure, and blasting permission at herself to take up space.

055 - People are Moved by You Being Moved Dec 03, 2020
    Show notes

Bonnie shares this quote from Jesh de Rox and her thoughts about living and leading in a way that makes ripples.

"It doesn't have anything to do with imagination. It has to do with you and your relationship with yourself. And how willing you are to be ridiculous in front of other people. What people are really going to connect with the most strongly is going to be the same part of your best friend's love about you. Practice getting to that part. And it doesn't have anything to do with other people. I'm not trying to convince anyone. What people are really moved by is you being moved."
