    Yoga Strong

To be “Yoga Strong” is to pay attention to not only your body, but how you navigate being human. While combining strength and grace creates a powerful flow-based yoga practice, it is the practice of paying attention in the same ways off-the-mat that can be equally impactful.

This podcast is a guide for yoga teachers, practitioners and people trying to craft a life they’re proud AF about. This is about owning your voice. This is about curiosity, bravery, sensuality, and building a home in yourself.

We often think of the environment as what is OUTside of us, what we can observe apart from us. But the INside environment plays an invisible and powerful role in how we show up and how we perceive others and ourselves.

    102 - Do You Feel Me?! Jun 03, 2021
    Show notes

Only I can feel what I’m feeling. I attempt to put it into words and actions that will speak well enough to depict what is on the inside, outside, in hopes that you can understand. Probably in hope that you will share something similar. Which isn’t fair to do to others, to expect them to feel the same (what is the “same” and how would we know?!). But we try anyway.

100 - A New Take on Walking Each Other Home May 26, 2021
    Show notes

I met the new girlfriend, I re-homed my dog, I sat with my back agains the tree, George, and realized how we're all walking each other home.
The quote "we're all just walking each other home" by Ram Dass has always felt like it's talking about walking toward death to me. In this moment, sitting on the tree, I realized the phrase means so much more.
As the 100th episode, thank you for walking with me. Let's keep this party going!

    099 - STD's and Stigma: Let's Talk About Sex with Taylor-leigh May 25, 2021
    Show notes

If STD's (sexually transmitted disease) are so damn common, why is the stigma about them so big? Can a cold for your mouth and a cold for your genitals be considered more the same? How does an STD affect a feeling of worthiness? In this convo with Taylor, I share about my journey with STD's and how to go about beginning this convo with someone new. We turn the convo to include anyone who feels they're in a body they're not feeling desirous in. Let's talk about sex!
This episode is part of a larger series called "Let's Talk About Sex" that I host monthly. These are casual real convos with my friend Taylor-leigh. We share our experiences with sex, sensuality and relationships with the hope that more conversations normalize and may open conversations for others.
