Episode #78 Alpa Pandya Talks About The Type of Goals You Need To Go For to Achieve Success Feb 03, 2021
    Show notes

Alpa Pandya Talks About The Type of Goals You Need To Go For to Achieve Success

How do you recognize which goals to go for? Alpa Pandya, a world-class business mindset coach, shares her passion and journey towards becoming one of Bob Proctor’s Top Seven Consultants.

In this episode of Enlightened Entrepreneur Podcast, Alpa also talks about how to work with a mentor, how to set goals, and overcome roadblocks.

    Key Questions Asked:

How did Alpa get started with coaching? How did talking to a mentor impact Alpa’s results? What should business owners look for when they are trying to find a mentor? What is an example of universal laws that are in line with the coaching program Alpa facilitates? What type of goals should business owners go after? How does Alpa set goals? What were the roadblocks or challenges that Alpa felt she could have avoided? What is the right mindset for a business owner or an individual to have when working with a mentor?

    Highlights of Lessons Learned:

Teaching People How to Go For the Right Goals

The first thing Alpa asked her coach was “How much is it gonna cost me?” Her coach responded, “What does it matter how much it’s gonna cost you.. What is it gonna cost you if you don’t do it?” We live our lives by our five senses and we make our decisions based on our bank balance. But what we fail to understand is that our bank balance isn’t going to stay in a minus figure permanently, we can change that bank balance.

    Learning From a Mentor

Early on, Alpa had learned a lot from Bob, one of the things she learned is that sometimes you do need to take a pay-cut in order for you to reap the rewards elsewhere. There’s no secret, but there’s a system. As soon as you know that system – that there’s a science behind the success – and once you understand that you can implement that, things are gonna start changing.

    Why Work With A Mentor

Nobody ever did it alone, you have to have somebody who can show you the way. Go to somebody who can show you and demonstrate it by results how to achieve what it is that you want to achieve. The only difference between a successful person and a nonsuccessful person is your mindset.

    Universal Laws

Everything in this universe vibrates, if you put your hand out right now, it’s not still it’s moving, everything moves. Therefore, we are moving in a vibrating world. The vibration that you’re putting out is what you’re attracting back to yourself.

Type of Goals to Go After

Goals are broken down into A type, B, and C type goals. A lot of people would go for an A-class goal. But A type goals are those goals that you’ve already achieved, something you already know how to do. That’s not gonna stretch you in any way. That’s why it’s the wrong type of goal to go for. Most people move on to B type goals, the kind of goals where you’re going sideways instead of moving upward and onward. These are the type of goals where people get bored because there’s no motivation. You’ll set yourself up to plan, but sooner or later you get demotivated, life gets in a way and you decide that you don’t want to go after that goal. That’s also a wrong type of goal. The type of goals that Alpa works with is C type – which helps you achieve your dreams. A weak goal generates weak results. A goal you haven’t thought through is a weak goal. It could deliver exactly what you don’t want. A worthy goal is joyfully formed and articulately expressed and it’s the most crucial step towards creating the results that you want. Alpa and her team help people to clarify their goal with absolute position.

    How to Set Goals

It’s important that you harmonize your goals clearly, once you’re fully aligned with the natural flow of these sources, then you can prepare yourself for an influx of opportunity and abundance unlike anything you’ve experienced before,

Episode #74: Kyle Reyes Talks About Behind-the-Scenes of His Marketing Success Feb 03, 2021
    Show notes

Kyle Reyes Talks About Behind-the-Scenes of His Marketing Success Do you know what to look for in a marketing agency? How do you cut through all the noise and get your message heard? Marketing expert Kyle S. Reyes talks about behind-the-scenes of achieving success in marketing that business owners don’t normally talk about.

    Key Questions Asked:

What were some of the roadblocks Kyle faced when he was starting out? How did Kyle navigate through the creation of his team during the early stages of his business? What should business owners look out for in deciding which is the best agency to work with? What mistakes does Kyle see business owners often make when it comes to marketing? Why is this mistake so crucial to avoid especially to those who are just starting up? What mistakes do business owners unknowingly commit? What advice would Kyle give to business owners?

    Highlights of Lessons Learned:

    Overcoming Roadblocks

So many entrepreneurs get into what they do because they’re passionate about it but didn’t know the first thing about running a business. For Kyle, taking a bigger portion of the seed money and setting it aside specifically for accounting and legal research, and hiring a chief financial officer would have saved him a huge amount of time and valuable resources during the early stages of setting up his business. People say, “When you have weaknesses you should double down on those weaknesses and get better at them,” that’s ludicrous. Don’t double down on your weaknesses. You should hire somebody to deal with those weaknesses and instead quadruple down on your strengths.

    Building His Team

Kyle’s early team had a lot of creativity but not a lot of structure He had since learned that it’s not worth it to spend so much time trying to create a culture of structure because it goes against everything he was trying to create.

    Choosing an Agency

Business owners should be able to recognize the following red flags when selecting a marketing agency to partner with:

If your prospective agency doesn’t ask a lot of questions If they’re willing to take on everybody and anybody as clients. (Not everybody is going to be a fit.) Always be skeptical about agencies that aren’t willing to give you the raw data of your Google analytics Be wary of agencies who take a percentage of what you spend on your advertising Be wary of an agencies that are not willing to share with you testimonials from clients Be wary of agencies that are not a good at storytelling. The best form of marketing and advertising is storytelling. And agencies that focus on taking your core values and your unique selling proposition and turning that into a narrative for you, that’s where you’re going to find a higher level of success. It’s also important to know your story before you even begin looking for an agency.

    On Marketing

It’s not about how many times you failed, it’s about how many times you were able to get back up. You can’t take losses personally. Running a business is like dating - at the end of the day you’re going to have those setbacks, but if you let that take away from your energy or your drive and enthusiasm, that’s when you become a loser. Advertising is a delivery method, marketing is the message. Being authentic in your marketing is so crucial to having that story resonate with your target demographic. With an effective marketing campaign, you’re built around an authentic voice. If you can understand the paradigm shift that’s happened in our culture and how people are consuming content and how to make content resonate with them as a business owner, you will win every single time.

    Common Mistakes

One of the most common mistakes that business owners make in marketing is not being authentic in their campaigns. They are also afraid to take a stance, they’re afraid to take a perspective and so they’ll just water down their...
