    Finding opportunities

    • Without so much of an educational background, Julie did not think twice to go on in building her business and marketing her own product.
    • As a new entrepreneur, there are a lot of things about business that you would not necessarily know until you get into it. You just have to go with the flow and sell where the demand is.
    • Ideas and opportunities are literally everywhere, even in a bad or a good economy, it doesn’t matter because it’s all about finding opportunities.

    Three Steps Forward

    • First thing to do is in setting up an innovative business is to make sure that no one else has invented this product, do some research and check for an existing patent.
    • The second step to setting up an innovative business is to make a prototype and create a visual representation of your product.
    • To making online marketing as a first priority when selling your product will save you a lot of time and money and will eventually attract huge commercial stores to call on you instead of the other way around.

    Ideas and Motivation

    • Angela thought that if she can use her product, then a lot of other people could use it too, which motivated her to keep pushing through the roadblocks.
    • “Pyramiding up” means if you start with a small amount of product and sell that, you can take some of that money and you slowly build your business up.
    • Julie realized that writing a business plan would not have worked for her business had she thought about doing it in the beginning.

    • Negativity is never going to help you, the best thing you could do is to remain positive.
    • Where you can outsource, do, and concentrate your efforts on what other people can’t do that you can bring to the table.
    • Every challenge that you face will help you somewhere down the line so you have to dig your way out, and you have to be able to realize that every challenge is an opportunity to succeed.
    • It is important to look for passion in people that you hire and if they are passionate about what you do.

    • Snowe shares that if you grow yourself, you’ll grow your finances and you grow your business, and that having the right mind-set needs daily commitment.
    • Snowe also believes that by focusing on what you want instead of what you don’t have, you create a positive mind-set that keeps you from being discouraged.
    • Snowe uses three money mind-set tools, twelve days of learning about all the tips and tools that people need to be able to walk through the process of becoming aware of what they’re thinking.
    • According to her, if you don’t condition your mind every single day, everything else is gonna condition it for you.

    • How Chris saw the need for urns and recognizing that as a great opportunity to venture into.
    • Employers always want to reduce their cost and their contractors generally cost less than employees.

    • You have to be passionate and driven enough and you also have to know when to zone out and get your brain out of it for at least a little while.
    • Persistence is number one key to success, the second is adaptability.
