    JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY shot to stardom with his 1992 double-platinum hit album Life�s A Dance. The romantic balladeer has won over the hearts of millions with his chart-topping songs “I Swear,� “Be My Baby Tonight," "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)," "I Love The Way You Love Me," “If You�ve Got Love,� and the moving tribute to veterans and the members of the armed forces, "Letters From Home." Born into a family of musicians in Central Kentucky, Montgomery has managed to create a storied career, charting 18 Top 10 hits and 15 No. 1s, celebrating two Billboard "Country Songs Of The Year," and achieving over 18 million albums sold. Along the way he has won four ACM awards, two CMA awards, one AMA award and garnered three GRAMMY Award nominations, placing him among the most successful country acts in history. He divides his time between Nashville, TN and a ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

    RUTHIE FOSTER a vocal powerhouse from Austin, Texas with a chapel-bred bravado trained on the works of powerful women such as Mavis Staples and Aretha Franklin, her sound grew into an inspired blend of blues, folk and gospel. Ruthie is a three time Grammy nominated artist plus she�s won seven Blues Music Awards, three Austin Music Awards, the Grand Prix du Disque award from the Acad�mie Charles-Cros in France, and a Living Blues Critics� Award for Female Blues Artist of the Year. She�s performed with Bonnie Raitt, the Allman Brothers, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks and more. Her latest �Joy Comes Back � is a new career-defining soul/blues/gospel/rock opus. SALLY & GEORGE is a musical duo at the crossroads of Americana, Country, and Rock. The East Nashville based duo, Sally and George, consists of Joel Timmons (Sol Driven Train) on guitar, percussion and vocals and GRAMMY nominated Shelby Means (ex-Della Mae) playing upright bass and singing. Drawing from their love for the classic duet styles of Johnny Cash and June Carter, as well as contemporary artists, The White Stripes and Shovels & Rope, Sally and George breathe life and love into the ever widening world of Americana.     CORKY SIEGEL is known internationally as one of the worlds great blues harmonica players, blues pianist, singer, songwriter, author and celebrated composer of blues-classical forms. He is a recent winner of the Lila Wallace/Reader's Digest/Meet the Composer's national award for chamber music composition and the Illinois Arts Council Fellowship Award for Music Composition, Chicago Lifetime Achievement Award, and inductee into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame. Corky is set to release a new album �Different Voices� with his Chamber Blues ensemble that merges blues and classical. TWIN KENNEDY is comprised of West Coast sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy. Born and raised in the small town of Powell River, the sisters grew up perfecting their sibling harmonies and dynamic live performances, while making their name known throughout their small community as a family band. With years of classical training, including their Bachelors Degrees in Music Performance from the University of Victoria, the sisters have found their home in country music. Their latest single, “Secondhand Gold� was awarded the Lennon Award in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. WoodSongs Kids: Members of the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra will perform the song “Twisted� with Corky Siegel to showcase the unique chamber blues sound.


    WoodSongs 878: Linkin' Bridge and Run Boy Run May 04, 2017

    LINKIN� BRIDGE is a singing group from the west end of Louisville, Kentucky. They are best known for their warm harmonies and emotional performances.Whether on stage, on a corner, these guys deliver power and conviction driven by their passion to unite the world through music and love. The band exploded on the world stage with their music and story when they were finalists on the NBC�s “America�s Got Talent�. The band is now national recognized and has over 500M video views! RUN BOY RUN exists comfortably in the tension between tradition and the musical frontier. This Tucson five piece Run Boy Run blends bluegrass, folk and the old timey American vernacular with touches of classical and turn of the century details. in the tension between tradition and frontier bluegrass and folk. From winning the band contest at Pickin� In The Pines (mere weeks after forming in 2009) and a special appearance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2012, to two appearances on NPR�s �A Prairie Home Companion� (host Garrison Keillor was also impressed enough that he penned the liner notes to the band�s debut album), they were tagged by Paste Magazine as “One of the top 10 Arizona bands to hear now.� Their new album Something to Someone. WoodSongs Kid: Cane Mill Road is a talented teenage bluegrass trio from Deep Gap, North Carolina.


    WoodSongs 877: Holly Norman and Ghost Town Blues Band May 04, 2017

    HOLLY NORMAN has a voice that is pure country, smooth, and takes you back to the days of traditional country crooners like Tammy Wynnette and Patsy Cline. Growing up in in Powell, Tennessee, Holly has sung and performed more than 6,000 shows before more than 2 million people. Holly has been a featured performer at Dollywood, Dolly Parton�s theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she had the opportunity to sing numerous times with Dolly. She�s also one of the headlining female vocalists at several theaters including The Smokey Mountain Jubilee, Southern Nights, and The Smith Theatre. Her sophomore album is a 'grassed up collection of 12 Elvis songs and 1 original written by Holly. GHOST TOWN BLUES BAND is a modern blues band with an intimate knowledge of both blues, rock and improvisational jams. At the same time, the band�s raw energy and intensity is reminiscent of some of the best blues that rock n' roll has ever offered. This Memphis-based, gritty, seven-piece has been touring the US and Canada since its inception in 2009, gaining a strong following within the Blues and Jam Band circuit. WoodSongs Kid: Jonathan Wilson Rader is a 11-year-old Elvis tribute artist from Wilmore, Kentucky. He is known as Little E and has released a tribute CDs to the King.

    FLATT LONESOME meteoric bluegrass rise in bluegrass can be attributed to their stellar picking and heartfelt songs centered around beautiful sibling harmony. They was the big winner at this year IBMA�s Awards walking away with Vocal Group of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. While deeply-rooted in bluegrass music�s historic classics, they also have an energetic flair for country sounds, progressive jams, and soul-stirring gospel music while never forsaking their traditional essence. Their latest album �Runaway Train� generated six charting singles thus far and was also honored at the SPBGMA Awards early 2016 for Album of the Year and Best Overall Bluegrass Band. MARK KROOS plays 2 guitar necks at the same time. He�s the winner of Guitar Player Magazine's 2011 International Competition .Drawing influence from folk, Celtic, indie, and even punk rock artists as well as other great guitarists such as Michael Hedges, Tommy Emmanuel and Leo Kottke, Mark Kroos has developed his own edge to the acoustic guitar characterized by open harmonies, polyphonic textures, and incredible tapping technique. Mark�s latest release is �Clarity�. WoodSongs Kid: Isaac May is a talented mandolin player from Mount Eden, KY. He frequently performs with Michael on his opening song and is a mentor to the WoodSongs Kids.

    SYLVIA has enjoyed more than two decades of a successful and multifaceted career as a singer and songwriter. Her career includes multiple No. 1 hits such as the crossover smash “Nobody� and “Drifter.� The Grammy-nominated singer also charted 20 singles on the country charts, which helped propel her to a win for the ACM�s “Female Vocalist of the Year.� 'It�s All In The Family', her first album in 14 years, is also the first on which she co-wrote the majority of the songs. JP HARRIS plays Country Music. Not “Americana,� not “Roots,� “Folk,� or any other number of monikers used to describe a slew of spin-off genres; he plays from the foundation of these styles, the music that has influenced four generations of songwriters. Rolling Stone named JP Harris one of fall 2014�s “Country Tours Not To Miss,� as well as one of “21 Must-See Country Acts at SXSW 2015.� JP's latest 'Why Don�t We Duet In The Road' is a collection of old-school country duets inspired by 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken'. WoodSongs Kid: Kevin Beddingfield is a fiery 8 year-old banjo player from Flag Pond, Tennessee.

    LIVINGSTON TAYLOR picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, beginning a 40-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting and teaching. From top-40 hits “I Will Be in Love with You� and “I�ll Come Running,� to “I Can Dream of You� and “Boatman,� both recorded by his brother James, Livingston�s creative output has continued unabated. His musical knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with a range of musical genres�folk, pop, gospel, jazz�and from upbeat storytelling to touching ballads. Livingston�s latest album is �Blue Sky�. REBECCA LOEBE is a laid-back award-winning indie-folk singer from Atlanta, GA. Since quitting her job as a full-time recording studio engineer in 2006, she has performed 100+ shows per year at colleges, coffeehouses and theaters in over 30 states of the US and in Europe. In the spring of 2011, her performance on the US premiere of “The Voice� impressed celebrity coaches Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, prompting them both to ask her to work with them. In 2017, she�s celebrating 10 years on the road and a brand new crowd sourced album. WoodSongs Kids: The Bucket Brothers are a North Carolina-based band composed of brothers Logan and Casey Valleroy. Just 16 and 13, the brothers have performed a sophisticated repertoire of jazz and original tunes since 2012 and have been described as "off-the-charts talented."

    MICHAEL CLEVELAND & FLAMEKEEPER is one of bluegrass music�s great treasures. A 10-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year, 4-time Instrumental Group of the Year winner and 2016 nominee, Cleveland captured the attention of the bluegrass community as a child prodigy who performed on the Grand Ole Opry with Alison Krauss when he was only 13 years old. But he became a viral video sensation this summer with a virtuosic impromptu performance of “Jerusalem Ridge� that racked up over 6 million views in just a few days. With his new release, �Fiddler�s Dream� Cleveland and delivers his finest studio album to date MURIEL ANDERSON is one of the world�s foremost fingerstyle guitarists and harp-guitarists. She is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. She has performed/recorded with Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Victor Wooten and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. Her obvious joy of music, humor and her facility across the genres of folk, classical, jazz, bluegrass and international music is revered by guitarists worldwide. Muriel is host of the renowned Muriel Anderson�s ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT® and founder of the MUSIC FOR LIFE ALLIANCE charity. Her recent CD “Nightlight Daylight� has won top honors in 11 national awards. Her upcoming project is �Wonderlust� The DVD: A musical and pectoral journey around the world. WoodSongs Kid: Conner Derryberry is a bona fide bones and banjo player who happens to be only 11 years old. He is the 2016 Uncle Dave Macon Youth Musician Champion for his claw hammer banjoing. Conner will perform on WoodSongs with award winning multi-instrumentalist brother Austin. The two hail from Shelbyville, Tennessee.
