The offense MUST run through Deshaun Watson for the Browns without Nick Chubb | Aditi Kinkhabwala Sep 20, 2023

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns took a major blow on MNF when star running back Nick Chubb was carted off the field with a severe left leg injury that will cause him to miss the remainder of the 2023 season.

However, not all hope is lost.

There's enough talent on the rest of the roster to have the Browns competing with the other top teams in the AFC, as long as Deshaun Watson can regain his 2020 form.

Kareem Hunt visited the Browns on Tuesday to potentially fill their void at running back. No deal was agreed upon, but there's a chance of a reunion between the two.

Is Kareem Hunt the right guy for the Browns to bring in as a backup to Jerome Ford?

PFF hands out grades for every player in every game, but today, the UCSS panel is grading the PFFers on their game grades for the Steelers/Browns MNF matchup.

Aditi Kinkhabwala joins the show to put a cap on what we saw Monday, and pivot towards this Sunday where she'll be on the sidelines for the Browns, Tennessee Titans matchup.

Deshaun Watson FAILS to deliver against the Steelers, leaving Cleveland Browns fans FRUSTRATED! Sep 19, 2023

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns were supposed to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on MNF.

The team was favored in Vegas and coming off a dominant win over Cincinnati while Pittsburgh was crushed in Week 1 by SF.

That's not how it went.

Nick Chubb suffered a season ending injury in the 2nd quarter when he was tackled low by Minkah Fitzpatrick, Deshaun Watson struggled all night long, & TJ Watt and the Pittsburgh defense forced four turnovers in what turned out to be a 26-22 loss for the Browns.

To put into context what happened: Cleveland's defense allowed Kenny Pickett & the Steelers offense to score 12 points in the game. Watson and company turned the ball over 4 times, leading directly to two defensive scores for Pittsburgh... 14 points. The Browns offense allowed more points than its defense.

Special teams was also not a bright spot for the team, as DPJ let multiple punts go over his head without an attempt to make a fair catch, pinning the team deep.

Kevin Stefanski and his offensive playbook confused people at times. Where is the explosive offense we were promised?

At the end of the day, it was a bad loss for a Cleveland team that has championship aspirations, and an even bigger blow to lose Nick Chubb.

Myles Garrett said it best postgame: We have to go out and win for Nick now.

Cleveland sits 1-1 on the year with a date against the Titans in Week 3.

Browns Post Game Show: CLEVELAND BROWNS VS. PITTSBURGH STEELERS INSTANT REACTION: Prayers for Nick Chubb + CRAZY FINISH Sep 19, 2023

Show notes

Please be okay, Nick Chubb.

The Cleveland Browns star RB was carted off the field in the second quarter after being tackled low by Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. There's no word on the severity of the injury, but it did not look good.

Chubb previously injured the same knee in college.

For the first time in nearly 40 years, the Cleveland Browns entered a game with the Pittsburgh Steelers, in Pittsburgh, as favorites.

Deshaun Watson & company were 2.5 point favorites according to Las Vegas, looking to become the third team in the AFC to start the year 2-0.

Myles Garrett & Za'Darius Smith destroyed the Bengals offensive line in Week 1 and are hoping to do the same against Kenny Pickett on Monday Night Football.

The first quarter went back and forth, but the Steelers took a 16-14 lead into the halftime break.

TJ Watt scored on a strip sack to give the Steelers a 26-22 lead late in the fourth quarter.

It's on Deshaun Watson and the offense to answer. Does DW4 have it in him?

Cleveland Browns fans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers fans in a "trash talk" battle Sep 18, 2023

Show notes

It's FINALLY game day!

The Cleveland Browns are looking to go 2-0 to start a season for the first time in 30 years, but the team might have to do so tonight without WR1, Amari Cooper.

Cooper reaggravated a groin injury in practice on Saturday, and is "unlikely" to play vs. the Steelers. Can Elijah Moore, DPJ & Cedric Tillman step up for Deshaun Watson without his top target? Will it be David Njoku who gets the majority of the targets?

Juan Thornhill is set to make his Cleveland debut after missing Week 1 with a calf injury. The Browns secondary was awesome without him, so how much better can it be with the Super Bowl champ back in the fold?

If you were to rank the top 10 players in this Monday Night Football game, how many Browns make the cut? The panel does its first ever "dude draft" to determine which side has the talent advantage?

Plus, Baker Mayfield is balling out in Tampa Bay while Joe Burrow continues to struggle for the Bengals. Who saw this coming?
