Trade rumors: Is Davante Adams on the Cleveland Browns radar? What would it take to add the All-Pro? Sep 27, 2023

Show notes

Lamar Jackson has been a thorn in the Cleveland Browns side since Kevin Stefanski took over as the team's head coach.

A healthy Lamar is 4-0 vs. the Stefanski led Browns in his career (he did technically lose a game but he got injured in the 1st quarter), and 1-0 vs. Jim Schwartz defenses as a pro.

So what's Myles Garrett & company's best shot at stopping Lamar Jackson on Sunday in a clash of first place teams in the AFC North?

Elijah Moore has been force-fed the ball early in this season, but the production has been lacking. How can Deshaun Watson and AVP get the most out of Moore vs. Baltimore?

Las Vegas Raiders superstar WR Davante Adams could hit the trading block if the team decides to blow up it up and tank, and IF that happens, the Browns are rumored to be one of the teams that MAY be interested in his services.

If Adams does become available, would you move hell & high water to get him, or are you comfortable with the team's current WR room?

Leroy Hoard and DJ Hazmat also make their weekly appearances to talk about the Browns win over Tennessee.

Plus, the highlights from Jay's championship game win in the Cleveland City Baseball League.

Writing off Deshaun Watson after one game was a GROSS OVERREACTION | Mary Kay Cabot on the Browns QB Sep 26, 2023

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns defense is putting up historic numbers to start the season.

Jim Schwartz, Myles Garrett & the rest of the unit have the league's best pass defense, run defense & scoring defense, while also allowing a league low first downs and total yards.

For comparisons sake: through three games, the Browns have put up significantly better numbers than the 1985 Bears defense did through three games, in a much tougher era to play football.

But right now -- is the Browns defense the single best unit in NFL? Does that title belong to Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill & the Miami Dolphins offense that hung 70 on Denver? Or does another unit take the crown through three weeks?

PFF grades for the Browns dominant win over the Titans are out and it's time for us to... Grade the Graders. How did PFF do with their grades this week and which Browns passed the test?

Cleveland.com beat writer Mary Kay Cabot joins the show to talk about the suffocating win over Tennessee and how the Browns plan to keep that momentum moving forward.

Then we do a quick wrap around of the rest of the NFL Week 3 before we close the book and move to Week 4.

And then Jerry Ferrara, aka Turtle from Entourage & Joe Proctor from Power, makes his UCSS debut in studio! Jerry is a massive sports fan and is new to Cleveland, so we promise you this is going to be fun.

Browns WR Amari Cooper has a HUGE game in a 27-3 win despite a crazy blown call by the refs Sep 25, 2023

Show notes

There are few things in life better than a Victory Monday.

The whole city is in a great mood this morning after the Cleveland Browns dominated the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, holding their AFC foe to fewer than 100 total yards.

Deshaun Watson played by far his best game yet as a member of the Browns, and Myles Garrett may have played the best half of his entire career.

Watson set a Cleveland career high in completion percentage, yards and air distance, while throwing for 2 TDs and not committing a turnover. It was the exactly the kind of performance DW4 needed to set the record straight after a rough start to the season.

Myles Garrett took the Nick Chubb injury personally and responded in a big way, with 3.5 sacks by himself, 3 TFL and 5 QB Hits on the afternoon. His 3.5 sacks in this game is more than any other Brown, other than himself, had all of last season.

As a whole, the Titans were unable to get anything going offensively. Ryan Tannehill was running for his life from the opening whistle. The Browns defense made Derrick Henry look old and washed up. DeAndre Hopkins was outscored by Dustin Hopkins and from start to finish, the Browns were in total control.

The only mishap came in the second half, when the referees stopped an Amari Cooper deep ball play dead after the catch when it was obvious he never stepped out of bounds.

Other than that, it was a near perfect performance from Kevin Stefanski's team and sets up a matchup against Baltimore next Sunday with 1st place in the AFC North on the line.

CLEVELAND BROWNS VS. TENNESSEE TITANS INSTANT REACTION: Defense DOMINATES; Deshaun Watson looks GOOD Sep 24, 2023

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns defense is LEGIT!

The Tennessee Titans came into this game with high hopes, but were absolutely shut down in the first half by Myles Garrett & company.

On offense, Deshaun Watson played the best half of the 2023 season and maybe the best of his Browns tenure to start the game.

Cleveland wasn't able to get much going on the ground, but even a little offense was enough offense to take a lead into the break. That's how good the defense was.

At halftime, the Browns led the Titans 13-3 and had all the momentum in the world after a Garrett sack ended the half with the Titans in field goal range.

The second half was much of the same. The Titans offense was unable to do ANYTHING and Deshaun Watson found Amari Cooper wide open beyond the defense for another score.

It's still early, but Deshaun Watson resembled the 2020 version of himself for the first time as a Brown.

Next up for the Browns: a home game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Kevin Stefanski vs. Mike Vrabel: Is coaching the X-FACTOR in the Cleveland Browns / Titans matchup? Sep 22, 2023

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns lost Nick Chubb for the season to a horrific knee injury on Monday night vs. the Steelers.

All his teammates, including Deshaun Watson & Myles Garrett, have said the rest of the season is in Chubb's honor. So how can those two stars & the rest of their teammates honor #24 vs. the Titans in terms of on-field play?

Speaking on Watson, he said on Thursday his timing in this offense was still off, despite having a full offseason to prepare. Joel Bitonio doubled down on those comments as well. Who is to blame for the lack of communication right now: the players or the coaches?

Former Browns QB Tim Couch is the perfect person to help us answer that question, and he joins the show at 11:20.

Can the Browns stop Derrick Henry? Henry is one of the NFL's best backs and despite having the one of the league's top rushing defenses thus far, Jim Schwartz and his defensive unit haven't faced a top-tier rushing attack yet.

Plus, why have the Browns historically struggled against teams built like the Titans in the Kevin Stefanski era? A deep dive into the numbers.

And lastly -- at 12:30... we move over the WKYC for our second on-air TV show. Make sure to tune in.
