T Cleveland Cavaliers BIGGEST storylines to watch down the stretch Mar 20, 2024

Show notes

Donovan Mitchell isn't fully healthy. Evan Mobley's return from a sprained ankle is still TBD. Darius Garland needs to be more consistent. JB Bickerstaff is playing new rotations nightly. Yet still, the Cleveland Cavaliers are holding on to a top 3-seed in the Eastern Conference. It's going to be a race to finish for the Cavs, who are just a few games ahead of the Knicks for the 3-seed with 14 games to play. However, there's no shortage of storylines to keep an eye on down the stretch for this team. Cleveland still has more questions than answers at this point, and there's less and less time to figure that it all out. The Athletic's Jason Lloyd & McNuggets do their best to sort out the 8 biggest storylines to follow with this team as they head down the stretch run and hopefully deep into the playoffs.

Stefon Diggs wants out of Buffalo and his previous success with Ken Dorsey makes the Browns a prime candidate to target the All-Pro WR. Is he worth it though? The Browns worked out former Jaguars DE Aaron Lynch on Monday. Does the team have another roster spot for the speedy edge rusher? Plus, Caris Levert & Marcus Morris led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a win over the Pacers last night & Shane Bieber looks ready for the start of the season. Get the latest Cleveland Browns news with a twist! In this podcast, we discuss the Browns' recent additions of Tyler Huntley and Mike Vrabel. Is this a genius move or a questionable one? Tune in to hear our thoughts and analysis. #ClevelandBrowns #TylerHuntley #MikeVrabel #UCSS The Cleveland Browns Sign Former Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Tyler Huntley On Sunday. The Browns added another arm to their quarterback room by signing Tyler Huntley after also Signing former number 1 overall pick Jameis Winston in free agency. The Browns are taking the tough lessons they learned last season about quarterbacks to heart. Cleveland agreed to terms on a one-year contract with former Baltimore Ravens QB Tyler Huntley on Sunday, adding another veteran to give them more depth and protection behind Deshaun Watson. Huntley is signing at the veteran’s minimum salary with the Browns, who spent last season juggling quarterbacks when Watson hurt his shoulder and eventually had surgery after making just six starts. The Browns started P.J. Walker, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Joe Flacco, who signed as a free agent in November and led Cleveland to a playoff berth. Last week, the team signed 2015 No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston to back up Watson, who has been rehabbing in California since undergoing surgery in November. Winston, Thompson-Robinson and Huntley will now stack up behind Watson, who has made only 12 starts since signing a $230 million contract with Cleveland in 2022. Huntley, 26, has been Lamar Jackson’s primary backup the past three seasons. He went 3-7 in 10 starts for Baltimore. He started for an injured Jackson and lost a playoff game in the 2022 season, when he fumbled near the goal line and Cincinnati’s Sam Hubbard returned it 98 yards for the game-winning touchdown. Huntley has passed for 1,957 yards with eight TDs and seven interceptions in 20 regular-season games. #ucss #nfl #browns #football #clevelandbrowns #brownsnews #cleveland #deshaunwatson #freeagency #nflfootball #nflnews
