    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

    Show notes

Hour 1 (09.25)Over 200 olive ridley sea turtle eggs, from the first natural sea turtle nests ever confirmed on the West Coast, got rushed off Seal Beach and Huntington Beach before Hurricane Polo's surf arrives.

6:05 – Hurricane Polo won't hit SoCal directly, but its swells are headed for Malibu, Long Beach and Seal Beach, with high surf expected Sunday through Tuesday. Long Beach has declared a local emergency for the peninsula. We also revisit Duke's Malibu, the PCH landmark that got buried in mud and floodwater after the Palisades Fire.

6:20 – The Quick Dam Insta-Dam is a flexible polyurethane barrier that blocks water, oil and chemicals without absorbing them. Every little bit helps. A late monsoonal storm set off mudflows in the San Bernardino Mountains, and its apple season: Oak Glen Steak House and U-Pick orchards.

6:35 – KTLA's Chip Yost, one of the best reporters in SoCal, is on sea turtle watch. Biologists moved more than 200 eggs from two nests to the Aquarium of the Pacific, where they could hatch in 45 to 60 days, around early November. Olive ridleys lay their eggs and leave them. The sea turtles are the new eaglets, and no, we're not naming them like Jackie and Shadow.

6:50 – McDonald's is exploring bowls, grilled chicken and egg bites for GLP-1 users and anyone who wants more protein. Plus: Burger King's new nuggets are good.

California Climate Credit Goes to Timmy for His Bob Saget Story Sep 24, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (09.23)Timmy was out in the San Fernando Valley visiting his college-kid daughter and got a fresh reminder that rush hour out there is a nightmare — which is exactly why he lives less than two miles from KFI HQ instead of Huntington Beach. Also, Prius drivers: Why are they the worst? He got his license the day he turned 16 — well, he failed that day and had to go back to the DMV the next morning. Freedom!

Tomorrow his in-studio guest is Mayor Karen Bass, who according to the polls is trailing Nithya Raman in the L.A. mayor’s race. It’s been one long, exhausting summer of breaking news — floods, a helicopter crash, a bus accident, and that Boyle Heights warehouse fire that burned for eight days and stunk up the neighborhood for two months. Time to breathe.

If you’re a Norm Macdonald fan, Judd Apatow’s documentary “The Tale of Norm Macdonald” hits Netflix on October 16. Story time: Timmy once visited a friend on the Fox lot, handed his valet ticket to a guy he thought was the attendant — and it was Bob Saget, who was not thrilled. If any Sagets are listening, Conway says he’s sorry.

Millions of California households may get an automatic credit on their electricity bills after that AC-heavy summer. And Harvey Weinstein was sentenced again, this time to 15 years — Timmy calling Hollywood hypocritical for shouting “silence is violence” after decades of rumors before justice finally came.

Over the Edge with Bieber in the Park as La Verne Burns Sep 24, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (09.23) “Wake Up Call’s” Amy King is staying up way past her 5 a.m. bedtime to talk Dodgers with Timmy — and her Friday leap off a 260-foot building for Union Rescue Mission’s Over the Edge fundraiser. Watch her go over around noon, or drop $1,000 and take the plunge yourself at urm.org/ote. Follow @AmyKayKing for a peek.

Love is in the air until the check hits the table: New Zelle research says 52% of Gen Z daters have ghosted, blocked or unfollowed someone after promising to pay them back. Going Dutch is now a disappearing act, and some are even going into debt to keep the social calendar alive.

Breaking in La Verne: a lithium-ion battery fire at the Metropolitan Water District has evacuation orders in effect. Across town, Santa Monica’s 1941 pier sign is coming down for a Vegas makeover while the bridge gets rebuilt. A nor’easter is pounding the East Coast while Hurricane Polo eyes California. Winter in SoCal could be all rain or no rain, so if you’re in a flood zone, FEMA flood insurance is on Timmy’s mind.

And yesterday in MacArthur Park, instead of the usual grim headlines, Justin Bieber popped up with three musicians for a no-stage, no-tickets surprise set. Radical.
