A caller tells me about a neighbor who is causing him a good deal of stress. We get into the complexities of acting with kindness even toward someone you dislike.

Afterwards we hear from a man who is trying to escape his mundane day job at Carvanna and become a school principal. We discuss his uncomfortable experiences with school growing up.

Then we hear from a caller about their disdain for receiving compliments, a man who is seeking advice on how to connect with his half brother who recently moved to America, and a couple whose been experiencing a lot of intrusive thoughts lately.

Finally we hear from a caller who tells me she’s been exploring a fictional universe through the body of another woman via astral projection while she dreams. “MY DAD HAD A SECRET” Jun 05, 2022

We hear first from a caller whose girlfriend has been sadistically shoving various items up his ass including candy, crackers, and cactuses. Then a caller tells us about the secret his father kept from his family for their entire life before revealing it on his deathbed.

Later we hear from a caller who recently gathered evidence that her grandmother may have murdered her grandfather, and a caller who has fallen madly in love with an AI chatbot called Replika.

It’s a kind of intense episode on many emotional angles and one of my favorites in recent times. But it’s also my podcast so that makes me a little bias. You should listen anyway. Sometimes I wonder if people even read these descriptions. I am a gecko.

A caller tells me she just started a new job as a private investigator for hire, which is basically legally paying someone to stalk a person for you. The caller tells me about the stakeouts she’s been on, how she got the job, her disguises, the various ways it’s possible to screw up, and more. It’s real life Sherlock Holmes.

Then we hear from a man who is worried about his wife finding out that he likes to wear women’s clothing, a woman who has been seeing an extremely shady man that she met on Tinder, and a caller who feels like they are emotionally invested in sports to a point where it’s a major problem in their life.

Afterwards a caller talks to me about what it was like being raised in a polygamous household that resulted in him having 21 siblings. We discuss how that affected him growing up, where he is now, and how his relationship with his family has evolved.

Lastly we receive a call from an American couple who moved to the Netherlands during the pandemic and how their new European setting compares to the United States.
