This is the time for you to make valid changes and not care about what other people think. That's the message Brian brings for you today. Now that summer is over, you might be back to work, in that 9-to-5 grind, and you'll fall back into the routine, so, why not make it healthy? Corporate jobs are known for being too strict, but everyone anywhere can make health happen.
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian encourages you to use this time to reset your life and start implementing important shifts. Your "professional self" and your "personal self" cannot be two different people: they must be the same and complement each other. If you are truly engaged in making health exist in your life, your life at the office should not restrain healthy changes.

What can you do today to improve your life tomorrow? Every change starts with awareness, and being aware of what needs to be changed is a consequence of self-reflection. Next time you feel you need to address some changes in your life, try and look in the mirror: when you stare into your own eyes, reflecting about your current life, you will instantly know what is worth changing and what is worth improving.
"The choices you choose not to take today will cost you more in the future." – Brian Pannuzzo
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian reflects on the end of summer and how you can take the chance now to end repetitive behaviors that you know are not good for you or the lifestyle you wish you had. Brian also talks about the differences that make each one of us unique. When you compare yourself to someone you think has a perfect life, you don't get to see the struggles and dilemmas that person faces when he or she is looking in their mirror.

Setting a goal for yourself is the first step to make in your life to change what needs to be changed. It can be a business goal, a life goal, habit changing, or even a fitness goal… but all goals have one thing in common: they must be attainable. You need to be able to achieve this objective before even going all in, and if a goal ends up being too hard to pursue, how great would it be to have someone by your side?
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian talks about goal setting and accountability using football metaphors. When we are on a journey to change, it helps immensely to have a third party with us to figure out what's working and what's not working – just like the professional teams do. Asking for support and having this person, who will be there for you, is not only helpful but a sign of strength.

Now is the time to change. Waiting for the summer to end or for the work week to begin in order to engage in a healthier lifestyle is something everyone does. If we keep postponing and waiting for the "perfect" moment to start exercising, walking more, eating greens, or drinking more water; the moment will never come. Changing for a good cause is something we don't wait to do, because anytime is the perfect time.
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian shares the big secret of taking action: not waiting. Now that summertime is approaching the end and you will get back to your regular routine with your daily habits, it's important to do an inventory of what has been working and what has not been working for your health and what new habits you could possibly adopt for the next season of your life.

Parenthood is a gift, but that doesn't mean it doesn't come with challenges. While raising our children is really a task of forming responsible adults to make the best of decisions on their own, it is important to keep in mind that kids are always watching the habits and behaviors of their parents. In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian shares his personal relationship with his daughter and how their connection evolves and improves on a daily basis.
On a side note, Brian talks about the correlation between having a healthy lifestyle along with healthy habits and deciding whether to take the COVID vaccine, or not. You will listen to Brian's opinion about the importance of taking care of our health organically, in a more natural and habitual way and why this may be a better option than taking a shot regularly for an unknown period of time.

When it comes to sustaining a healthy lifestyle, it's important to engage in sustainable goals. However, people wanting to be in better shape don't usually set goals in the first place. Nutrition goals only work if you keep them simple and the simpler they are the more consistent you will be when following the plan. In fact, the whole idea of nutrition can be easy if you just make it simple.
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian sits down with Ben Brown to discuss the role of nutrition for an individual whose goal is to feel and live better. Ben shares his background when nutrition became everything he resonated with and motivated him to support other people. When talking about some of the eating habits of his family, Ben also highlights that nutrition more than anything is about balance.

Following up with the theme of the last episode, in this episode Brian debriefs his plan for the next two weeks where he'll be entering a caloric deficit process. In order to stay on track, Brian will keep track of his calories on a daily basis, while paying attention to his macronutrients. He talks about the protein sources he will be choosing for this period and the "seesaw" analogy used for carbohydrates and healthy fats.
During this time, Brian explains that "the enemy is near" and a few life situations can make him fall off track; like a social event with friends or the daily routine with his family. So, it's important to know that personal accountability is the key to keep going, and hiring a coach can be a good option in this case. Tune in to this special episode!

From time to time we might find ourselves falling off track and giving in to decisions and behaviors that stray far from what we had planned. We may also replicate old habits like binging on food, skipping workouts, drinking or smoking excessively again, etc. Although very challenging, when going down this hole, the only thing we could possibly do is to create awareness and stop digging ourselves deeper.
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian explains that messing up is normal, but to keep doing it is a choice. In this episode Brian shares tactical steps to snap out of this situation easily and start winning one day after the other, again. He also says that having someone to hold you accountable is important, but the only person capable of making you bounce back is you.
