Join this conversation as Brian welcomes Todd Cuccia and Luke McCarthy on the podcast. Todd and Luke discuss their personal journeys with fitness and how it has impacted their routines, their lifestyle, and their families. You will learn that endurance training is one of the most effective ways to practice strength and resilience and these are qualities we always use to deal with problems and overcome life situations.
They also discuss how important it is to have a support network to help us get through the training sessions and conditioning sessions, for example, when preparing for a marathon. To have a community assisting you and helping you before the big event is a huge advantage in order to feel stronger. Fitness is much more a mental challenge than a physical one, and moral support can really be the catalyst to victory.

As a follow up to the previous episode, Brian welcomes on the podcast his wife Tasha to talk about marriage, sex in marriage, and the many easy ways that husbands and wives can connect daily. We all know that routines are an obstacle when it comes to relationships and, specifically, marriage, where everything seems to be the same every time and the day looks exactly like the prior day. But, in times like these, it's important to reinvent the interactions and reignite the drive.
Brian and Tasha discuss practical and straightforward tips about how couples can make intimacy work even after a long day at the office, a busy schedule, or a house full of kids. Sometimes quiet and connective moments such as a long walk in the neighborhood, a conversation over a glass of wine, a date night in the middle of the workweek, or a short period of time where both individuals can spend some time alone can do wonders for couples.

Listen to this episode as Brian discusses the role that parents play on the lifestyle and life choices of their kids. Besides giving education and forming characters, being a parent also means understanding that your children are not replicas of you. They might dream of different things, they might have different goals, or maybe reproduce different behaviors… but the beauty of parenting is exactly that: seeing your kid becoming a unique individual.
To complement this discussion, Brian talks about a series of 3 books called "Way of the Warrior Kid" by author Jocko Willink. Brian depicts how these books were able to discuss deep topics in an easy way, which is nothing but appropriate for the young generation. He also highlights the importance of making books interesting for kids and how these types of publications, although made for kids, can teach parents a lot too. Tune in!

When you have a long term goal in mind, it's easy to get distracted and fall off track at some point. That's when you must remember your 'why', the reason behind the goal, and what enticed you to envision that goal in the first place. Goals should be more important and demand more of your time than any other distractions, because if you find yourself repeating old behaviors you will find yourself stuck in the same place for a long time.
In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian sheds some light on the importance of showing up to do the things you are committed to do, even when you don't feel like it. Brian explains that it takes more than the "monday motivation" mindset to change what you want changed, and that being consistent with a healthy lifestyle and enduring through hard times is always better than adopting trendy habits or fad diets.
