Interview With "Promising Young Woman" Star, Carey Mulligan & Writer/Director, Emerald Fennell Jan 14, 2021

Show notes

I've made it abundantly clear that my no. 1 favorite film of the year is Emerald Fennell's directorial debut "Promising Young Woman." Having seen the film a year ago at Sundance, it stayed at my no. 1 slot all year long and now, it even finds itself in the Oscar conversation. Receiving a chance to talk to the film's leading star Carey Mulligan and Emerald Fennell was such a thrill for me as I got many questions answered and behind-the-scenes insight into one of the best films of the year, what it means to the both of them and more! The movie is currently available to rent and purchase on digital through Focus Features and I hope you all get a chance to see it. Please take a listen down below to my conversation with Emerald and Carey. Enjoy!

For this review, I am being joined by Nicole Ackman, Josh Parham, Danilo Castro, guest Sharronda Williams from PayOrWait.com and Patreon guest Giovanni Lago.
