May Business Energy Reading Apr 25, 2019
    Show notes

In the coming month we are called to focus on the actions we take in other areas in our lives and see how they support us in our businesses. Our ability to take care for ourselves directly impacts our ability to serve. In other words, taking action in the parts of our lives that isn’t business related, still affects our businesses.

Making doctor appointments, exercising, even cooking for ourselves, can be an active form of self-care that may deplete our energies, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Being tired is a sign that we made a commitment and followed through with it, and that is something to celebrate.

Overall, don’t let the fear of old patterns popping back up this month derail you from stopping the important work that you are doing, and allow yourself to focus on the idea that being tired is a result of a job well done.

I so hope this reading supports you in the month ahead, and I can’t wait to see what you do with this call to action. Please share this episode with a friend who needs to hear this, and leave us a review on iTunes so this energy reading can reach more people.

    SHOW NOTES

3:19 – Energy for the month (10 of Swords Rev.)

We are abusing ourselves with our thoughts and overthinking ourselves to death. Lucky for us, this means the only thing left to do is act! What do we need to support our growth? Business self-care boundaries.

    7:50 – Release (4 of Swords Rev.)

We might be tired, but it’s okay because it will be worth it. Let’s focus on the idea that being tired is a result of a job well done. Being tired is a sign that we made a commitment and followed through with it.

    14:27 – Outcome (2 of Cups Rev.)

Our old patterns that we have worked so hard to get past may pop back up this month, but do not let the fear of it all coming back stop you from the work you are doing. Create a new habit of letting those thoughts from your critical self become arrows that point you straight to action.

Going Full-Time with Your Business Apr 18, 2019
    Show notes

Today I am not only your host, but also your guest for this solo episode, where we talk all about that tricky transition from having a job to running your business full time!

Just to be clear you don’t ever have to quit your day job if you don’t want to, but for those who are ready to make this switch, here are a few things to consider. I hope these simple, though not always easy, steps will guide you through this transition.

Please leave us a review on iTunes so that this message can reach more people.

    SHOW NOTES

2:35 – Moving from your job to growing your business without being reckless.

Don’t do what I did! I quit my job without coming up with a plan, having a strategy, or saving any money. It’s not a path I’d recommend taking, but it is the path I felt I had to take. Ask yourself, do you just want to leave your job, or do you actually have a place you want to go to in your business?

8:27 – How do you make that leap when you still need the income from your job?

It is so awkward to make that leap, but it becomes easier when we know why we are doing it. Why do you want your business? What is driving you? Before we can consider taking this leap, that why has to be strong!

12:49 – Looking at the Numbers!

How much money do you need to live? How will you make it work when you quit your job? If you are close to making that number, ask yourself why are you afraid of moving forward. If you still need to grow, then save before you quit or transition to part-time.

    27:35 – Recap.

What is pushing our transition from job to business?
    Plan!
Make the leap or go into band-aid mode!

33:06 – Using tarot for navigating this time.

I may have quit my job because of the fool reversed a bit recklessly, but I think that tarot can be a remarkable tool for us to utilize during this time. If you haven’t yet listened to episode 29, “Using Tarot for Business”, there is a great download with it that includes business focused spreads.

In this episode we learn all about how strengthening our confidence helps us to better connect to our purpose and continue to share our message as business owners. Feeling like you are not good enough, or are prone to failure? You must listen to this episode!

If this episode speaks to you, I invite you to share it with a friend!

Please leave us a review on iTunes so that Dorothy-Inez’s message can reach more people.

    SHOW NOTES

1:05 – What is a success mindset coach and what is confidence?

Confidence vs. authentic confidence. We can access authenticity by becoming connected to our true identities. Dorothy-Inez’s goal is to get us back to that place that she believes we are all born with, but become disconnected to over the course of our lives.

4:36 – How do we create consistency in tapping into our confidence?

Make a sacred date with yourself. Start with making a commitment to make yourself a priority. Get yourself, a coach, or even a friend to help keep you accountable. Building your confidence will help you to ask for things more, and to allow yourself to be vulnerable.

13:13 – How can we use our confidence mindset to help us achieve our goals instead of sabotaging them?

By reinforcing our thoughts with truth, and surrounding ourselves with a community that does the same. Be open to being a fertile ground for the seeds of positivity.

20:05 – How can we be confident without taking it over the top?

Who are you not to share your amazing gifts? They deserve to be expressed!

April Business Energy Reading Mar 28, 2019
    Show notes

Today we look at the energy for the month of April. How did this happen? The year has flow by! This month invites us to build on the work we did in March by securing our boundaries and reaffirming them. We are closer to our rebirth from the ashes as we investigate releasing the things we are holding onto simply because they make us feel good. If we can stay focused on these steps this month then we can do the real work of growing our businesses!

If this episode has been of service to you please share with a friend who needs to hear this. Leave us a review on iTunes so the energy reading can reach more people.

    SHOW NOTES

0:58 – I talk about all the wonderful things I share to IG and my recent struggles with my own mental health in the beginning of this year.

2:45 – Card 1: Overall Energy of the Month (Four of Pentacles)
We have the opportunity to pick up on the work of March where we were called to let things go! April is asking us to secure those boundaries we have created. Like cellular membranes, what are we allowing to flow though us? What needs extra help?

9:24 – Action for the Month (Temperance, rev.)
Take inventory of what you will no longer do. Figure out where the energy is going that does not directly lead to the level that you desire. Where are you spending your time that is not taking you to the next level?

    18:50 – Release Work (4 Wands)
This is not a month to play around. We are being asked to let go of focusing on what we really want to be doing from a purely enjoyment based state.

    21:31 – Outcome Card (10 of Wands)
We are gonna be busy! There is stuff to do! It is time to keep our heads down, focus, and do the heavy lifting. But beware of burnout, which is why setting our boundaries is so important.
