In MA v. Myles King hearing regarding a defense motion to dismiss, court proceedings addressed evidentiary disputes and witness testimony involving District Attorney Adam Lally. The court clarified that an undisclosed Ring camera video was a separate 10-second clip recorded an hour before the homicide, rather than an edited snippet taken directly from the 2-minute-and-1-second grand jury exhibit. Lally testified that he had no prior knowledge of former Trooper Michael Proctor's racist communications and stated he would have recommended Proctor's removal from the case had he known. The judge limited further questioning of Lally about Proctor's voicemails since Lally had never heard them, suggesting instead that the parties stipulate to submitting the thumb drive directly to the court for review.
