It's been a focus since childhood and in the adult years she formalised her love for all things people by completing a Diploma in Counselling and Case Management. She now holds hold 5 tertiary qualifications plus 3 certifications in total which is a complete turnaround from her childhood where she was plagued by a limiting belief, that she wasn't intelligent. The trigger events that helped create this belief were regular and teachers and one parent also affirmed that she 'wasn't smart'. This led to life decisions which negatively impacted Ingird. She developed unhealthy communication habits which inevitably meant that relationships became fractious and bumpy. But Ingrid's real qualification came from life itself. She has walked a 25 year journey of personal transformation - addressing her negative beliefs and habits was a big part of the story. Learning how to have a fight without busting the relationship was another big key. The people Ingrid interacts with now are getting a much better version of her true self. Ingrid has discovered that her genius zone is relationships so she has crafted her training, stories and her experience, together with an evidence based methology, to help other women transform their lives. About our Guest:

Jessica Kiely is the co-founder of the natural perfume collective SENSOR.I.AM and keynote speaker in the natural beauty and wellbeing space. She inspires professionals to engage with life from a place of curiosity, playfulness and pleasure.

Jessica’s deep dive into natural beauty began in 2015 in response to a very personal life upheaval. This massive change forced her to question all elements of her life, including the integrity of products she was putting into and onto her body on a daily basis. In search of new answers, Jessica immersed herself in the world of natural beauty. She studied Low Tox Living with Alexx Stuart and natural perfume-making with Nature Care College, and was fortunate to interview natural beauty founders in New York, Hong Kong, France and Australia to deepen her understanding of this important niche. In 2016, she established her first green beauty business to help other consumers make more conscious choices. Over time, her focus evolved into curating 100% botanical perfumes to replace the synthetic fragrances that desensitise and numb us in our modern world. Her passion for re-awakening the senses and forging a deeper-connection with ourselves and nature gave rise to SENSOR.I.AM.

These days, as a speaker and facilitator, Jessica shares SENSOR.I.AM’s message with corporate teams and wellness communities around the world. She hopes that by sharing practical wisdom and energising stories about natural beauty and wellbeing she can inspire participants to make decisions that are right for them. Jessica has 20 years of experience as a speaker/facilitator for global leaders in countries as diverse as India, Singapore and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and audiences that include the likes of IBM, EY, Westpac, CBA, Sydney and Macquarie Universities, and every level of government in every Australian state. Her depth and breadth of experience as a speaker helps her to create novel and dynamic experiences for her audiences. In fact, she is renowned for her vivacious energy and have been described as “highly intuitive, sharp and always on point".

In her time away from SENSOR.I.AM, she is an enthusiastic archer, a passionate advocate of her dad’s abstract art exhibition (www.mykidscoulddothat.com); co-founder of artisan chai apothecary Tiger Purrr; and a Master Trainer and Senior Facilitator with Speakers’ Institute Corporate, supporting professionals around the world to uplevel their presentation and communication skills.

EP 134: Three bad behaviours to stop doing right now Oct 12, 2022
    Show notes

Something happened this week that crossed me. Big time. People behaving badly when connecting!

Now I don’t want to seem negative but simply to share my experiences and what I noticed happening; not only on Facebook but also on LinkedIn, Instagram, emails and Messenger. It can happen to anyone on any forum, so I want to provide some quick guidance and tips to keep communication online positive! ☺️

Bad behaviours when connecting digitally are becoming more and more common as we increase our use of the numerous digital platforms. It drives me crazy and, I imagine, others too. Bad behaviours demonstrated by a FEW people can give a negative impression that affects our ENTIRE industry.

These bad behaviours are the reason why Meta is keeping an eye on MLM, on Direct Selling, our whole industry because there’s a lot of people leaving the platform. Meta does not want people to stop using their platforms because of our behaviour.

Listen in, not because you are guilty but because it’s always handy to be aware. Be aware of the challenges others can create through their behaviour so you can actively work around it. Be aware in case you need to encourage a team member or friend back on the right path. Be aware and help our industry to keep the amazing reputation MANY people work so hard toward, not let it be tarnished by a misguided few.

    EP 132: WT(welcome to)F...acebook Sep 28, 2022

    WTF Facebook!

… Welcome to Facebook…. You knew what I meant, right?

Are you confused by or frustrated with the latest Facebook updates? You’re not alone! Let’s talk about those moments that make you exclaim “WTF Facebook”... and not in the welcoming sense.

Facebook performs Beta testing on new features. This means they slowly roll out new features as they come about, unlike before when they used to be (almost) perfect by the time they hit.

Beta testing means a few key things; we don’t all get features at the same time, we will experience bugs/glitches, and when things happen to you but not others - it’s not necessarily your mistake, just that others may have not yet experienced the same updates!

So how do we overcome these bugs and glitches when they are so inconsistent and unpredictable? We simply need to take a deep breath, recognise and understand the common features. Let me share with you 5 quick tips you can apply to feel confident in the, sometimes uncertain, world of Facebook moving forward.
