Oftentimes, a marketer's top priority is getting more sales.

But it's important to realize that the work you do in the world actually saves lives, regardless of what you're promoting.

Learn how you can shift your perspective of getting that next big payout to transforming as many people as you can for the better.

Tune in to this new episode of The Conscious Marketer podcast โ€” Saving Lives Through the Work You Do with Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:02:17] Marketing is like throwing a life raft. Knowing that you need to get your offer to those who need it while being aware of the futility of life creates a sense of urgency.

[00:08:33] Create the change you want to see. Every decision you make, every project you accomplish, and every word you write makes the world a little bit better.

[00:10:43] Have a strong intention to serve. Do this, and you'll reach more people naturally.

[00:12:40] Enjoy what you do. Adding a sense of fun into your work helps you achieve your life purpose to serve with ease. Surrender limiting beliefs and the scarcity mindset, and let the ideas flow.

[00:14:59] Getting your work into more people's hands is a sacred obligation. It will not only impact yourself (financially and spiritually) but the whole world will benefit from your work as well.

How to Scale Your Business with Allison Maslan Mar 30, 2023
    Show notes

Many business owners are afraid to scale. Why?

Because they're all hands-on with their company. They're exhausted and burnt out. And bigger means more work, doesn't it?

Pinnacle Global Network CEO Allison Maslan wants to change that. With the SCALEIt Method, she helps these visionaries grow their business to run like a well-oiled machine even without them and free their time to improve their quality of life.

Tune in to this new episode of The Conscious Marketer podcast โ€” How To Scale Your Business with Allison Maslan.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:09:44] Awareness is power. Knowing where you are at is the first step into becoming the visionary of your company and letting others run it for you.

[00:12:02] Expand your possibilities. Reframing your mindset as a business owner gets you to see the bigger picture and play a bigger game than what you have now. There's no limit to what you can do!

[00:16:39] Scaling is a dream that can be reality. Be inspired by the success stories of Allison's clients - doubling their revenue, freeing up their time, and reaching more people.

[00:20:37] Create your big-picture vision. Written in the future tense, this becomes your company's driving compass in daily decisions so you can get closer to your goals. Schedule making this and get your team involved.

[00:26:33] Scale your business. Scale your life. It's important to take care of the owner, not just the company. Without a healthy overseer, there's no growth.

How to be More Productive Mar 23, 2023
    Show notes

Being more productive doesn't mean doing more. It's all about making sure you're doing things in the right order.

Listen as Richard and Kylie share their tips and tricks on mastering productivity, the most important facets of your marketing that you should focus on for extra leverage, and maximizing existing technologies to make your work easier and smoother.

Tune in to this new episode of The Conscious Marketer podcast โ€” How To Be More Productive with Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:01:31] Focus on these three things. Allocate time weekly to create ongoing list-nurturing content. Also, have evergreen content for lead generation. Set up models, systems, and programs.

[00:03:56] Engage in sales conversations. Learn how to sell by talking to people who know how to. The knowledge will be worth years of study!

[00:08:56] Write compelling copy by doing these. Take care of yourself physically. Work backward. Begin with the end in mind so you know exactly where you're going.

[00:13:58] Use time blocking and voice-transcription tools. This works if you're not into lists and writing. But if you love lists, have a running list. Break them down into days, months, weeks, and years.

[00:19:42] Organize your inbox. Take note of the people you need to respond to. Unsubscribe from unnecessary things. Have a separate email for receiving marketing.

[00:21:34] Use templates and AI. Don't feel threatened by the latter! They'll never replace people but are merely tools for making your work more efficient.

[00:27:48] The more productive you are, the more you can help others. Be open to switching things up and improving. This is all in the name of service to those who need you!

Leveraging Your Status (Part 2) Mar 02, 2023
    Show notes

Gone are the days when the only way to become a household name is to appear on popular radio and television shows. Today, entrepreneurs can maximize multiple methods to enhance their status.

Tune in to the แด„แดษด๊œฑแด„ษชแดแดœ๊œฑ แดแด€ส€แด‹แด‡แด›แด‡ส€ podcast โ–ถ๏ธ Leveraging Your Status (Part 2)

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:00:59] Welcome to Part II on Leveraging Your Status! We give you a few more ideas about how to maximize people and platforms to increase your influence in the market.

[02:16] Status builder #1: Third-party validation. Suppose you're just starting and you don't have thousands of followers, learn to borrow the credibility of people that people are institutions that your audience connects with, looks up to, and believes in.

[00:04:46] Richard teaches you to piggyback on the giants supporting your industry and what you're doing. You're promoting them and yourself at the same time.

[00:05:16] Name your system, product, or formula. The most talented creators who have built a name for themselves have unique positioning and created their signature products. Start to think through a multi-layer approach to naming whatever it is that you teach or whatever it is that you're offering.

    [07:51] Your "unique mechanism."

Whether you're a trauma healer, a shamanic practitioner, or an acupuncturist, your ideal client may have already seen the transformational results you promised. But what they probably haven't seen is your system. Give them that.

[09:56] Be relevant and stay in the consumer's mind.

We cannot emphasize enough why posting consistently is essential. People attribute status to how often they see you.

[11:40] Kylie teaches four types of content, so you don't run out of ideas.

Discover which of your unique stories matches what your clients are currently experiencing and take them through the struggles you've confronted that they are likely facing in their own lives. When telling your narrative, highlight your transformation and even those you've already worked with. Paint a picture of what life was like before, why it changed, and what it is now.

[15:09] Who are the people you serve?

Make it your aim to build that connection with your target audience and let them feel the benefits when they decide to become your clients. Allow them to see the possibility of you being able to help them too.

The Limiting Story Feb 23, 2023
    Show notes

Our limiting story is something we hold on to and is preventing us from taking action. It's the excuse we give ourselves. And we lack the courage to stop and question it.

It's time to shift from the victim's path to the hero's journey. We lay out different examples of these limiting beliefs and what you can do to become your highest self โ€“ that aligned guide of your expertise.

Tune in to this new episode of The Conscious Marketer podcast โ€” The Limiting Story with Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:07:41] You are what's unique to the market. Your skills could already exist anywhere else, but you have a personal spin on how you deliver based on your experiences. Being simply good at what you do is enough.

[00:11:05] Don't fight your limiting beliefs. Sit with them. Awareness is the first step to catching it and turning it into something that powers you.

[00:13:18] Stay in your genius zone. Dislike the process of using technology? Outsource or set up a team to do it for you. Spend more time strengthening what you're good at instead of fixing your weaknesses.

[00:17:15] Marketing isn't taking, it's service. You have something so powerful in your hands that you are obligated to share it. Go out there, and shift the consciousness!

[00:20:23] Marketing is creating an emotional state. Depending on your offer, you want to share joy or positivity that draws in people to want to get what you have to offer.

[00:22:18] Reframe your limiting story. Change it into a story that serves you. This is how you get the full results of what you're trying to accomplish.

The Power of Self-Expression with Emily Utter Feb 16, 2023
    Show notes

As creative and conscious adults, we must be constantly reminded that self-expression is part of how we make a positive difference in the life of other people.

Adventurous coach Emily Utter learned the hard way that trying to water down every aspect of our person puts a lid on achieving success in all aspects of our lives and businesses. When she realized she needed the courage to become her unapologetically, her income immediately doubled.

Tune in to the แด„แดษด๊œฑแด„ษชแดแดœ๊œฑ แดแด€ส€แด‹แด‡แด›แด‡ส€ podcast โ€” The Power of Self-Expression with Emily Utter โ–ถ๏ธ

Key points covered in this episode:

[07:22] Welcome to Episode 73! The Power of Self-Expression with Emily Utter

Listen in if you want to sell in a way that feels natural and good and isn't all sleazy and pushy. Our guest, Emily Utter, is an expert on this topic. She is a business coach, sales trainer, and creator of a program called Sales Power System, and she works with many adventurous coaches.

[16:22] For almost all of us, our zone of genius lives in the part of us that somebody shamed in our lives.

We all have unique talents, gifts, and ways of expression that have often been discouraged or shamed. Our parents, teachers, friends, family members, or even complete strangers might have said cruel things that tried to force us to conform to a mold we weren't meant to fit.

Nevertheless, it is these very traits that make us special and fulfills our purpose to offer nourishment to those around us. Who we are can help liberate others.

[21:05] Self-expression needs to permeate every aspect of the business. Instead of worrying about turning people off, think that showing up online as your true self is a magnet for the people who are the right fit for you.

[24:55] Emily recommends: start tracking where you self-censor, not just in business, but in life.

Many people need to realize how much they're trying to please others. Unconsciously, we are paralyzed by fear of the opinion of others. They write a post, and in the back of their mind, they're thinking, What will my spouse think? Or What are my previous clients going to think? That happens a lot in the coaching industry, especially when someone is up-leveling or shifting their niche.

[28:51] When we're not expressing our gifts, we're reducing our impact.

People in our world are not just doing this to make a buck but because we know we have a gift to give. Every time you put out content, find yourself holding back and censoring yourself from your social media network โ€“ take a step back and think about it โ€“ why do you often do that? Understandably, you may feel guilty or fear being judged, but you must focus on doing what's best for you and your purpose.

[37:47] Role-playing is a highly undervalued technique that will spell success in launching your next webinar, program, mastermind, or event.

Emily says that ensuring you do this activity in your business is proven to make a difference. To optimally prepare, role play with another person (who's not necessarily a sales expert) who can help you look out for "energetic bumps." This allows you to find hidden currents that you may unconsciously communicate that make you look and sound inauthentic.

[44:47] We need more impact players out there to shift the consciousness of every industry.

Every day, we are thrilled to work with heart and soul-centered entrepreneurs using their gifts to empower others to improve the world. To see real change, we need more passionate people to overcome their sales and marketing hurdles, join this movement, and achieve collective transformation.

For every แด„แดษด๊œฑแด„ษชแดแดœ๊œฑ แดแด€ส€แด‹แด‡แด›แด‡ส€ out there โ€“ thank you for your courageous commitment to making a difference!

    โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

Emily Utter is a business coach for adventurous entrepreneurs โ€”coaches and healers who want to scale their location-independent businesses and work from anywhere in the world! Overcoming Fear of Sales Feb 09, 2023
    Show notes

If there's an aversion to marketing, there's a 10x aversion to selling.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

A mindset shift and a strong desire to serve and solve problems can steer you away from hesitations and into a passion for showing up for your future buyers.

Tune in to this new episode of The Conscious Marketer podcast โ€” Overcoming Fear of Sales with Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:01:41] Be confident in what you do. If you're able to provide transformation, you're obligated to put your solution on the path of the people who need them.

[00:03:42] Focus less on the sale, and more on getting the answer the person needs. Ask about their goals and what's costing them for not getting there. You want to help them make the best choice โ€“ even if it's not your solution.

[00:08:13] Don't be scared of pricing. Get comfortable with stating the cost, regardless of the amount. If you're not speaking it with conviction, your prospects can sense it.

[00:11:55] Go out and sell. Now's the best time to start. It's your sacred purpose to get people to want to work with you because you see their potential.

The Power of Your Origin Story & Content Marketing with Natalie Ferris Feb 02, 2023
    Show notes

We can all relate to not wanting to be seen as "marketing" ourselves and our work. Launch Strategist, copywriter, and certified life coach, Natalie Taggart Ferris shares the secret of how she could assist entrepreneurs operating in the conscious and spiritual space to overcome that fear and successfully market themselves.

Tune in to the แด„แดษด๊œฑแด„ษชแดแดœ๊œฑ แดแด€ส€แด‹แด‡แด›แด‡ส€ podcast โ€” The Power of Your Origin Story & Content Marketing with Natalie Ferris. โ–ถ๏ธ

Key points covered in this episode:

[07:24] Introduction: The story of storyteller, Natalie Ferris

Listen as she tells her own "hero's journey," pursuing her love for copywriting, quitting her job, and starting a coaching business. Struggling with self-doubt, knowing her message and marketing, she sought help from Kylie and found her way to helping others sell their programs and scale their magical work through storytelling.

[10:42] Fact: Conscious entreps are afraid to put themselves out there. We all recognize the essential steps needed to expand our business, but we hesitate due to apprehensions surrounding marketing ourselves. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ It is time to shift our perspective and realize the power of telling our origin story as the ultimate tool to achieve our purpose and share our work with the world.

[17:05] Not everybody has a larger calling.

If a passion drives you to make a difference in the world, recognize that it is a calling only a few have been given. Not everyone is blessed with the gift of serving others. Trust your instincts and have the courage to follow through. โœจ

[20:38] Consistency is something every successful business person and the creator must master. Lean in and understand how your hero's journey can help you become more consistent, especially with sales

[25:50] The difference between the story being about you and the story being about your clients. In Natalie's story strategy framework, talk 20% about you and 80% about your ideal client and their journey. Many business owners talk too much about themselves and forget to enter the conversation in their customers' heads.

[30:31] To be more sustainable with your marketing, a story strategy and conversion plans ensure that you are not just creating content for the algorithm but designing your marketing in a way that you can trust is leading people down the path of working with you.

[36:12] Natalie reminds you that social media is not your diary. This is a very common mistake that entrepreneurs that biz owners can make. Sharing stories without any planning brings underwhelming returns.

The Social Media List Building Method Jan 26, 2023
    Show notes

Many creators, authors, therapists, and conscious entrepreneurs have come to us for coaching, and we are surprised to find that often, they don't have their own distribution list. They have successfully built a big following on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and the rest of other social media platforms, but capture only a few people in their CRM system so that they can contact prospects without paying for it.

Social media siphoning is what we teach so that you can move your leads from a platform that you don't control to a place where you have the power to access your contacts as your most important asset.

Tune in to the แด„แดษด๊œฑแด„ษชแดแดœ๊œฑ แดแด€ส€แด‹แด‡แด›แด‡ส€ podcast โ€” The Social Media List Building Method with Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik. โ–ถ๏ธ

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:00:58] Introduction: Social media siphoning is a list-building method that is a powerful method for lead generation that you have direct access to.

[02:48] Kylie shares effective techniques that she's been doing in the last ten years. She emphasizes keeping in mind to add a ton of value in your actual post by talking about the benefits, showing people what life could be like on the other side of the training you provide, and leading them where to get more information

[05:14] Richard cites that we always aim to take people from social media networks and bring them to our email lists as a general rule. If they are on our web page or email list, they should also follow us on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. This produces a powerful web of contacts around us. This way, we can effectively communicate with them, target them and call them to action.

[08:40] Don't let algorithms get the better of you โ€“ take control and keep creating amazing content for your audience. You absolutely need to take the time to understand what they need and like and build on it.

Of course, it's not about becoming cheesy or watered-down but rather listening to feedback in a constructive way and deepening your message.

[11:27] The role of social media is to get people off social media. As a conscious entrepreneur, you aim to bring people to safety with your product, service, and expertise. You want to carry them into your world to show them what they've been missing.

Your websites, email lists, membership sites, and inner communities can save those aimlessly wandering around social media and help them become part of meaningful content and conversations.

[14:07] It's not wrong to grow your Facebook group or pages - it's just that, in the grand scheme of things, building up your email list should be your priority. Companies can get banned from platforms all the time, including account restrictions. If you ONLY rely on Facebook contacts, that would be disadvantageous. An email list helps you diversify so that you can also turn to other platforms for backup.
