Mr. Kevin Fisher-Paulson visits The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Fisher-Paulson serves as Captain of the Honor Guard for the San Francisco Sheriff's Department. He's a White man and he's gay. He and his White male partner have "adopted" two non-white children - on black and on "mixed-race." Mr. Fisher-Paulson has spoken publicly about the discussions he's had with his black 12-year old, Zane, about the shooting death of Michael Brown, Jr. and the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri. Young Zane seems to grasp that the world is consistently inhumane - downright savage - in it's treatment of those with melanin. We look forward to getting details on what he says to his "adopted" children about Racism and if they've ever suspected him of being Racist. Phillip Andrew Morton visits The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Morton is 35-year-old White Man and St. Louis, Missouri native. He's a filmmaker by trade and has collaborated with Hollywood stars Regina King and Kat Williams and contributed to the 2012 feature Battleship. Mr. Morton produced, directed and edited the 2014 documentary, Spanish Lake. The movie explores the Racist White Flight from the St. Louis suburb of Spanish Lake. The White filmmakers correctly attribute the stark demographic shift to White Supremacy (Racism). Gus began hearing about this film in June of 2014 - about two months before Michael Brown, Jr. was killed. The planet gazed as Ferguson become a war zone over the last month - tanks and tear gas. Much of the talk revolved around how this small predominantly black town is terrorized and bullied by an almost exclusively White police department and local government. Morton's film seems to offer many accurate answers. Racist Suspect Dr. Karen Swallow Prior visits The Context of White Supremacy. Dr. Prior earned her Ph. D. and M. A. at the State University of New York at Buffalo and her B. A. at Daemen College. She's a professor of English at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and a member of Faith Advisory Council of the Humane Society of the United States. Gus reiterated his interest in hearing how White professors teach on Dr. Maya Angelou's iconic autobiographical novel, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. A listener alerted Gus of Dr. Prior's essay on this book - What Maya Angelou Means When She Says 'Shakespeare Must Be a Black Girl'. We originally agreed to do this program a week earlier, but the death of Michael Brown, Jr. and the events in Ferguson altered time. As it turns out, Dr. Prior has recommended people read Caged Bird to get a better grasp of what's happening in Missouri. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Mr. E.R. Bills. Mr. Bills is a White Man, an author and a proud native of the lone star state. He published a brief essay on the 1910 murders of untold black residents of Slocum, Texas. He found no other publications on this buried episode of White Terrorism and was ultimately approached to write a book on the subject. The 1910 Slocum Massacre: An Act Of Genocide in East Texas details how Whites concocted an excuse to slaughter black citizens; Whites deceitfully alleged that blacks were arming themselves for a violent ambush of innocent Whites. There was no evidence to substantiate this bogus claim - unarmed black murder Victims are common throughout the history of Systemic White Terrorism. Mr. Bills documents how easy it was to extinguish black lives at this time; black death was something Whites celebrated. Millions around the planet have been transfixed on the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, Jr. in Ferguson, Missouri; this episode has forced many Whites and non-whites to acknowledge that Racism remains an enormous problem. Acres of Skin, Allen's groundbreaking investigation of this heinous chapter in American medical history - and the complicity of many penal systems across the country - has now become the classic work on the subject and a recipient of considerable media attention. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Laura Klunder live from South Korea. Ms. Klunder is a non-white female who was adopted (abducted) by White parents as a child. As she grew older, her understanding of global White Supremacy matured, and she elected to jettison her adopted White family and return to South Korea. She invests a monumental amount of her time to documenting her experiences within the Racist adoption institution. She writes for Gazillion Voices and hosts her own blog. We'll ask about her perspective on White people taking possession of non-white children. Many non-whites argue that abandoned non-white children would benefit from being in the hands of "caring" Whites as opposed to lavishing in wretched group homes or being ferried to a litany of foster homes.
