Mrs. Krystl Tyler makes her second visit to The Context of White Supremacy. Ms. Tyler is a White Woman, and she's married to a black male. During her first visit to the broadcast she referenced her husband as a "sperm donor." Ms. Tyler says that she has since reflected on and accepts the fact that Whites have more power than non-white people, which would make all sexual activity between the two exploitative and incorrect. We'll resume the dialog on area eight (SEX) as well as her book, The Wheat Money: 1865 - 2015. Since her last visit, she and her black husband have returned to Ferguson, Missouri - they were there the day before the grand jury announced their decision to not indict Darren Wilson. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the film makers of WHITELANDIA. Whitelandia is a documentary film that investigates the evolution of White Supremacy (Racism) in the state of Oregon. They explore how the 1857 state constitution prohibited black people from being Oregon residents – which directly contributed to 21st century Portland, Oregon being the “whitest large city in the United States.” This broadcast is a result of Bruce Poinsette’s outstanding journalism. He cited allegations aimed at the White filmmakers: [they] alienated some influential voices in the Black community by using people’s material without permission and leading many to falsely believe the film was a Black production. Gus tweeted Mr. Poinsette’s report, and the filmmakers responded. We invited them to The C.O.W.S. to address the confusion and accusations of Racism leveled against them. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing makes her 25th visit to The Context of White Supremacy. Dr. Welsing is a third generation physician and general and child psychiatrist. She wrote the legendary publication, The Isis Papers: The Keys To The Colors. Florida A&M University recently celebrated Dr. Welsing's pioneering work analyzing the "disease of White Supremacy." We'll seek her thoughts on 4-term mayor of Washington D.C., Marion Barry - he died late Saturday evening. We'll also get her commentary on the astronomical attention focused on the alleged sexual misconduct of Bill Cosby. Mr. Cosby's suspected transgressions were accompanied by accusations aimed at Al Sharpton. We'll see if Dr. Welsing thinks this is a calibrated effort to distract from the grand jury's decision in Ferguson, Missouri. Lacey Schwartz visits The Context of White Supremacy. Ms. Schwartz is a non-white female with a White mom. She - like President Obama - is an alumnus of Harvard Law School and a documentary filmmaker. We'll investigate her 2014 film, Little White Lie. The project explores Ms. Schwarz deceptive childhood. Her White mother (Peggy Schwartz) insisted that her dark skin tone was the result of her "swarthy," Sicilian grandparents. She was in college when she finally confronted her mother and got the truth. Her birth was the product of her mother's extramarital affair with a black male. Her White father regarded this as the "ultimate betrayal;" Lacey's parents later divorced. We'll ask about her "White" childhood and episodes where Whites impugned her membership in the White club. Dr. Catherine Fosl visits The Context of White Supremacy. Dr. Fosl is Associate Professor of Women's and Gender Studies and Associated with the History Department at the University of Louisville. She is the current Director of the University of Louisville Anne Braden Institute for Social Justice. We'll examine Dr. Fosl's biography on Braden, Subversive Southerner: Anne Braden and the Struggle For Racial Justice in the Cold War South. Braden is a White Woman, revered for her alleged contributions to countering Racism. She and her husband (Carl Braden) were excoriated and charged with sedition when they purchased a house in an exclusively White area for a black family. They rubbed elbows with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Angela Davis, Jim Foreman, Ella Baker, Rosa Parks, Fred Shuttlesworth and many of the renown black activists of the 1960's. Braden is depicted as a modern abolitionist in equivalent to John Brown, Timothy Wise, Viola Liuzzo, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Rehad Desai live from South Africa. Mr. Desai graduate from both the University of Zimbabwe and the University of the Witwatersrand. His family's South African heritage and the end of the so called Apartheid regime have greatly influenced his cinematic work. In 2008 he released Bhambatha: War of the Heads 1906 - it depicts black people actively opposing White Terrorism (Colonialism). Mr. Desai's most recent work examines the 2012 Lonmin Mining Massacre, Miners Shot Down. More than 100 black miners were killed - 36 fatalities. Mr. Desai's work contradicts misinformation around this butchering of black people. Following the first police shooting that produced 17 casualties, ambulances were not given access to dozens of wounded black people and enforcement officers hunted and killed an additional seventeen black Victims. It's been suggested that the drug-induced, armed, black thugs deserved what they got. In the two years since this slaughter, not a single officer has been reprimanded. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Charles E. Cobb Jr. Professor Cobb is a journalist, professor, former member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, the first black staff writer for National Geographic Magazine and the current senior analyst for AllAfrica.com. Professor Cobb has written several books addressing black people and the global system of White Supremacy. We’ll discuss his most recent publication, This Nonviolent Stuff’ll Get You Killed: How Guns Made The Civil Rights Movement Possible. Cobb offers vivid accounts of numerous black people who actively practiced counter-violence in response to unrelenting White Terrorism. Mr. Cobb suggests that the typical narrative of nonviolent, “passive” black protesters drastically misrepresents the large volume of black citizens who were unwilling to “turn the other cheek”. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Akinyele Omowale Umoja. A professor of African-American studies at Georgia State University, Dr. Umoja invested decades researching the history of White Supremacy in this area of the world as well as the history of black resistance. We'll discuss his 2014 publication, We Will Shoot Back: Armed Resistance and the Mississippi Freedom Movement. The book details centuries of White Terrorism targeting black people, but quickly inserts the equally long tradition of black people arming themselves and, despite overwhelming odds, striking back against Racist violence. Dr. Umoja's text is an effort to counter the narrative that black southerners were too compliant and passive to subscribe to counter-violence. Importantly, the book details how black females were just as vested in the armed protection of black people as black males. Although, Dr. Umoja's work focuses on black resistance in Mississippi, their resilience was mirrored elsewhere. This is a supremely important bit of scholarship because so many Victims of White Supremacy have been convinced into believing that black people are cowardly chumps, who've never fought back against White savagery. Racist entertainment like the 2012 film Django Unchained helps re-enforce this lie. We Will Shoot Back also demonstrates that frequently, when black people defended their lives and property, Whites got busy producing Justice and countering Racism because they did not want to see White lives lost. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Kitimbwa Sabuni live from Sweden. Mr. Sabuni is a black male and secretary general of the National Afro-Swedish Association (Afrosvensarnas Riksförbund, ASR). Mr. Sabuni speaks publicly on a regular basis to address issues impacting black and non-white Swedish residents. Mr. Sabuni was recently featured on Al Jazeera’s The Stream to discuss current proposal to remove the term “race” from all Swedish legislation. This will allegedly help counter-racism because the concept of “race” is a social construct and removal of the term will reduce the power of a counterfeit idea. This is a massive contradiction to the September 2014 elections where the Sweden Democrats – an anti-immigrant party with roots in the “white supremacist” movement – more than doubled their vote and now hold the balance of power in Parliament. In the last thirty days two White affiliates of the Sweden Democrats have been chastised for Nazi paraphernalia.
