Dr. Vernellia R. Randall makes her 4th visit to The Context of White Supremacy. Dr. Randall is a retired Professor of Law at the University of Dayton. We previously investigated her 2006 publication, Dying While Black - an examination of a medical system saturated with Racism; "Blacks lag behind on nearly every health indicator, including life expectancy, death rates, infant mortality, low birth weight rates and disease rates. Blacks are sicker than Whites. Blacks have shorter lives - Blacks are quite literally dying from [Racism]" The text also includes suggestions on things black people can do to counter Racism while striving for optimal health - no smoking would be an awesome start. Tamir Rice, John Crawford, III and his girlfriend Tasha Thomas have focused a great deal of attention on Ohio. It's fitting that her return to The C.O.W.S. is simultaneous with Ohio State's quest for an NCAA football championship - with a black quarterback no less. We'll get her thoughts on the recent protests and what they reveal about the System of White Supremacy. She had her own encounter of police terrorism with Beavercreek's finest - the very same department responsible for killing Mr. Crawford. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The first full week of 2015 was arduous for journalists. ESPN's Stuart Scott succumbed to his battle with cancer (and Racism); he was 49. In France, the satirical Charlie Hebdo publication was reportedly bombarded, resulting in 12 casualties. Four of those suspected in this attack were killed by French authorities. Many Whites in the United States and globally have allocated a great deal of time on this reported act of terrorism, but have been almost unanimously silent about the bombing of a Colorado NAACP office. Colorado, land of the Columbine massacre and James Homes' 2012 theater shooting. Amidst an ongoing NYPD "work stoppage," former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and NYPD officer Wenjian Liu were both buried. Mayor De Blasio's black wife, Chirlane McCray, was admonished for "inappropriate" funeral attire. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 3rd study session on the top selling autobiography of worshiped White killer Chris Kyle, American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. Kyle was murdered by another White veteran in early 2013 - ironically, at a gun range on U.S. soil. Whites transformed Kyle's narrative into a feature length production with a December 25th release; Clint "Dirty Harry" Eastwood is reported to have delivered a seminal directing efforts. Last week's session described Kyle's preparation for his wedding. His White comrades in death tattooed Playboy bunnies on his mostly nude body and packed ice on his genitals; this scene highlights the homoerotic undertones of the text and White culture. As the System of White Supremacy is supported by bogus information, we'll remain alert for possible fabrications. True or not, this text displays a great deal about the nature of White pathology and the religion of White Supremacy - which mandates ongoing brutality against non-white people. Dr. Baz Dreisinger visits The Context of White Supremacy. Dr. Dreisinger is an Associate Professor in the English Department at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She investigates American and African-American Studies. She founded and serves as Academic Director of John Jay's Prison-to-College Pipeline program, which offers college courses and reentry planning to incarcerated men at Otisville Correctional Facility. Dr. Dreisinger is an accomplished journalist and critic, writing about Caribbean culture, race-related issues, music and pop culture for the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Village Voice and Wall Street Journal. She helped create the documentary feature Hip-Hop Cop - which examines the New York Police Department's focus on black hip-hop artists. We'll explore her 2008 publication, Near Black: White-to-Black Passing in American Culture. She examines an array of books and films to discuss incidents of White people pretending to be or mimicking "black people." Her theory suggests that Whites see black males as the critical component of black authenticity. We'll also converse about her review of James McBride's The Good Lord Bird - McBride is a black male. The book is currently being adapted for the silver screen. Members of the New York Police Department instituted a work stoppage to demonstrate their disgust with with Mayor Bill De Blasio (cowbell). Republican Congressman Steve Scalise is backpedaling, obfuscating and claiming White Ignorance to explain his 2002 speech to a White Supremacist organization. John Crawford's family continues to be terrorized; Crawford's girlfriend (Tasha Thomas) was killed in a gruesome and suspicious car crash. After 57 years Joan Williams was finally permitted to participate in the Tournament of Roses Parade; she was refused entry in 1958 when Whites discovered she was a nigger. Whites scurried to defend the honor of President Lyndon B. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the second session on the bestselling autobiography of worshiped White killer Chris Kyle, American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. A different White killer murdered Kyle in early 2013 - at a gun range in the United States. Whites concocted a Hollywood winner based on Kyle's narrative; the limited theater release of the film coincided with White Jesus's birthday. Clint "Dirty Harry" Eastwood was selected to direct. As the System of White Supremacy is primarily supported with malarkey and lies, we'll remain vigilant for possible fabrications. Our first portion of reading included golden showers and homoerotic Racist hijinks. Kyle "lusted" for his guns and reminisced about meeting his "classy" White wife who styled leather pants and consumed alcohol until puking on their first date. Kyle described Iraqis as savages, and spoke fondly of his time killing non-white people. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our annual counter racist year-end review. We'll reconsider major events and patterns of the previous twelve months of world wide White Supremacy. 2014 was marked by the loss of black legends. Dr. Maya Angelou, Mayor Marion Barry, Mayor Chokwe Lumumba, Amiri Baraka, Ruby Dee, Sam Greenlee, Vincent Harding, Herman Ferguson and Yuri Kochiyama all transitioned. All of these Victims of Racism invested their superb talents and life currency in countering Racism. Whites spent most of the year tarring Richard Sherman, Michael Brown, Jr., Renisha McBride, Tamir Rice, Al Sharpton, Boko Haram, Elliot Rodger and black people in general as thugs and terrorists. Conversely, innocent Whites like Darren Wilson, Donald Sterling, Cliven Bundy, Theodore Waffer, and Jill Abramson were defended as White martyrs. This was the 25 year anniversary of Do The Right Thing, and "police" departments continued their lengthy tradition of chokeholds, terrorizing and killing black people. Whites recognized the 20 year anniversary of the Rwanda genocide and demonstrated the same disdain for black life when the Ebola epidemic menaced the west coast of Africa. There was much White noise for black corpses, but lesser, muted White effort for improving the existence of living black people.
