Trump acquired the necessary delegates to cement the Republican presidential nomination; Dr. Frances Cress Welsing still looking clairvoyant. Meanwhile, the current president became the first sitting commander in chief to visit the Japanese site of the World War II nuclear holocaust. A sizable number of Whites didn't want to hear any apologizing from Pres. Obama. Back in the states, The Supreme Court ruled that a black death row inmate's rights were violated when White prosecutors willfully excluded black jurors; it's ambiguous how this will impact the infinite number of convictions by homogeneous juries. Speaking of court, entertainment icon Bill Cosby will stand trial in Pennsylvania on chrages of sexual assault. Across the country in Idaho, a gang of White teens will face prosecution for racially terrorizing and raping a disabled black teenage student. They forced a hanger into his rectum. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 6th study session on Harriet A. Washington's spectacular text, Medical Apartheid: The Dark History Of Medical Experimentation On Black Americans From Colonial Times To Present. Washington's brilliant work exposes willful, premeditated plunder of black bodies under the guise of "science." Washington's research should alter how black people process the scientific developments of whitefolks - like the "crispr" gene editing technology and DNA tracing websites that stockpile genetic material. Last week's session outlined how the words of one White man - Dr. Abraham Flexner - doomed all but two black medical schools following the Civil War. Washington also began her analysis of the infamous Tuskegee Syphilis Study that lasted more than three decades. Washington notes that "many white physicians were informed of the studyâ??s detailsâ??but not African American physicians." The trend of willful deception and fraudulent "scientific" practices is as fundamental to the Tuskegee study as is the flagrant disregard for black life. Dr. Melissa N. Stein visits The Context of White Supremacy. An assistant professor in the Gender and Womenâ??s Studies Department at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Stein's research interests include African American history and women's/gender history. On his last trip to The C.O.W.S., Dr. Tommy Curry highly recommended Dr. Stein's first book, Measuring Manhood: Race and the Science of Masculinity, 1830-1934. The text highlights how humanity and citizenship were defined in terms of White manhood. Consequently, black males and females were judged as defective men and women and deserving of enslavement and White domination. Dr. Stein documents how White scientists compiled an array of statistics and tabulations that demonstrated the inferiority of black people - heads were too tiny, genitalia too big. Dr. Stein also examines how sexuality was defined within a context of White Supremacy. White sexual deviance was racial suicide that threatened reproduction. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Reminiscent of convicted rapist Daniel Holtzclaw and the Associated Press report on significant number of police officers who sexually terrorize citizens they're paid to protect, a black female filed a $7 million lawsuit against a former Syracuse, New York police officer who raped her while on duty. Suspected Race Soldier Chester Thompson was convicted of misconduct, not rape. In nnother illustration of the swell relationship between black females and the police, a San Francisco police officer shot and killed a 27-year-old black female; this was the latest controversy involving San Fransisco policing and resulted in the resignation of Police Chief Greg Suhr. Speaking of repetitive, just like in Ferguson, Missouri, Bay Area Whites selected a black male, Toney Chaplin, as the replacement police chief. Across the country, many continue the verbal jousting over transgender access to North Carolina lavatories. Attracting much less attention, North Carolina Senate Bill 873 will lower tuition and possibly change the names of 5 schools within the state - three of the institutions are historically black institutes. Washington's extraordinary text, Medical Apartheid: The Dark History Of Medical Experimentation On Black Americans From Colonial Times To Present. Washington's tremendous work exposes willful, premeditated pillaging of black bodies under the guise of "science." Washington's research should alter how black people interperate the scientific breakthroughs of whitefolks - like the "crispr" gene editing technology and DNA tracing websites that stockpile genetic material. Last week's session explored the long running history of Whites abusing black people in life and death. Washington documented the extensive theft of black corpses across the country. Whites acknowledged that it would not be tolerated to defile White burial grounds, but Racist scientists and doctors had no reservations about pilfering the remains of black people. Washington also included how some black people helped Whites in the theft of black bodies. However, Washington emphasized that on the rare occasions when someone was punished for robbing black graves, it was invariably the less powerful black collaborators. Lorne Cress Love visits The Context of White Supremacy. Ms. Love is the older sister of the late Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. Ms. Cress Love volunteered with SNCC during the 1960's and worked to create black media platforms where Racism could be discussed. During her earlier visits to the program, Ms. Cress Love, provided a wealth of insight on Dr. Welsing's childhood, the Cress family legacy of countering Racism and using your skills and resources to help black people. Before Dr. Welsing's transition, she predicted that Donald J. Trump would take the White House in November of 2016. This was before primary season and at a time when few political pundits regarded Trump as a serious candidate. Now, it looks as though Dr. Welsing may have delivered a devastating political forecast based on her comprehenisve understanding of White Supremacy. Ms. Anitra Brown returns to The Context of White Supremacy. Managing editor for The New Orleans Tribune, Ms. Brown has invested more than ten years of service offering black New Orleanians "news and information from a perspective not heard in the city and mainstream media." We last spoke with Ms. Brown during the ten year anniversary of the levee failures and Hurricane Katrina. Out of ten years of death and suffering, New Orleans' public schools have garnered a tremendous amount of attention and controversy. Ms. Brown and her Tribune colleagues have done a remarkable job covering the changes and deceptions regarding efforts to reform New Orleans' schools. There's a new bill pending (SB 432) that will allegedly transfer authority from the Recovery School District to the local Orleans Parish School Board. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our monthly Global Sunday Talk On Racism. This broadcast is constructed to inspire participation from Victims of Racisms outside the United States and/or non-white people who are unable to call-in during our normal normal time. With the ongoing angst about the Zika virus, there have been calls to cancel the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil - a country with the largest population of black people in the western hemisphere. There seem to be less concerns for black Brazilians being dislocated to make room for this summer's festivities. We'll also examine the election of Sadiq Khan, the first Muslim to hold this position in London, England. Don't think this represents England's post-racial metamorphosis. We'll also update the tragic killing Andrew Loku. Canadian journalist Desmond Cole reported that video footage shows that the Toronto officers chilled for ten minutes before making an effort to offer medical attention. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Young scholars across the country prepare to celebrate an educational landmark with their spring graduation, sixteen black cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point faced possible disciplinary action for having the gumption to take a photograph with black fists raised. Officials said this uppity act may have been an unauthorized political act showing solidarity or support of the Black Lives Matter movement. They've since decided against taking punitive action. The killer of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman, continues doing his part to combat the threat of BLM. He's reportedly auctioning the gun he used to kill the black teen in 2012, and will allegedly use a portion of the profits to "fight Black Lives Matter." While President Obama announced that he will be the first sitting United States president to visit Hiroshima, Japan since the nuclear destruction of World War II, presidential hopeful Donald J. Trump continues his unabated march to the White House. The New York Times reported that many White Trump supporters are deceiving pollsters by not publicly declaring their support of Trump for fear of being branded a Racist.
