The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 7th study session on Frantz Fanon's 1961 book, The Wretched of the Earth. Born in Martinique in 1925, Fanon is a globally acclaimed psychiatrist who devoted his 36 years of life to eradicating White terrorism. He fought for Algerian independence from French colonial domination and black liberation world wide. Fanon also penned Black Skin, White Mask, which is a psychoanalysis of the perversions and neurosis that drives the sexual liaisons between Whites and black people. Interestingly, Fanon himself married a White woman. The writer and psychiatrist died from leukemia the same year The Wretched of the Earth was published; it's reported that Fanon's health deteriorated to the point that he dictated final portions the book to his White wife. Last week's session invested an enormous amount of time criticizing the black middle class and how their ineptitude and greed consistently betrays Black liberation. Importantly, Fanon stressed that black methods of communication must improve if we're to permanently end White rule. Like many Victims of Racism, Fanon suggests that Whites are ignorant about the murder and rape of Black people. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly gathering on Workplace Racism. The reason for this program is to fine-tune non-white people's problem-solving skills and to improve how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've figured out the optimal method to minimize disputes with White and/or non-white co-workers, sidestep demotions, write-ups, terminations or other violence we experience in Racist work environments should be first to call in with specifics. We always value and appreciate the observations of "black entrepreneurs;" please, share with us how being "self-employed" improves your workplace experience. Several listeners have voiced an interest in forming a group to formulate ideas to help black people in the area of employment. Any listeners with human resource experience are encouraged to inquire about details. We'll hear counter-racist strategies from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work history. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more dependable than memory, and the act of documenting can clarify your thinking. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our monthly Global Sunday Talk On Racism. This program is specifically designed to encourage participation from Victims of Racism outside the United States and/or non-white people who are unable to join us during our normall broadcast time. Gloobal attention is focused on London, where an explosive device was detonated on a subway. It reported that more than two dozen people were injured. ISIS has allegedly claimed responsibility for the bombing. We'll get our British listeners thoughts on how this event will impact non-whites across Europe and how this will alter English politics. We'll also discuss how Hurricane Irma devastated the Caribbean islands. Many of our Black Britons have familial ties to the region. We'll also discuss the reported North Korean missile launch. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The state of Florida continues the reovery after the ravages of Hurricane Irma. Over a million residents in the sunshine state remain without electricity. The Caribbean and the states of the Georgia and South Carolina also experienced storm damage. Large populations of black Caribbeans testify that Whites on the islands were evacuated first and given preferential treatment. Across the Atlantic, a London train was bombed leaving more than 20 transit riders injured. It's been reported that "ISIS" is claiming responsibility for the attack. An act of terrorism on US soil was reported in New Hampshire where an 8-year-old non-white child was racially pummeled by a mob of White urchins. They tied a rope around the child's neck and pushed him from a picnic table. Speaking of protecting children, former Seattle Mayor Ed Murray resigned this week after months speculation that he sexually molested numerous children. KUOW's Gyasi Ross wondered if the only reason this White man left office is because a White accuser finally stepped forward. When Murray was accused of only raping non-white children, he was not compelled to give up his post. And another White Missouri police officer has been exonerated for killing a black male. Former officer Jason Stockley was acquitted of the 2011 shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith. Born in Martinique in 1925, Fanon is a widely acclaimed psychiatrist who committed his 36 years of life to eradicating White dominion. He fought for Algerian independence from French colonial rule and black liberation world wide. Fanon also authored Black Skin, White Mask, which is a psychoanalysis of the perversions and neurosis that drives the sexual liaisons between Whites and non-white people. Our last session examined the mythical notion of African unity. Fanon concluded that years of conditioned anti-blackness made it so that black people across the continent easily bickered and brawled with each other even after the Whites physically departed. He also emphasized how Whites deprived black people of education, so they were largely ill-informed and unable to perform many of the essential tasks to sustain their independence. Unfortunately, Fanon invests a sizable amount of the text to criticizing how other black people respond to White Terrorism. Dr. Martin Kevorkian returns to The Context of White Supremacy. A professor at the University of Texas Austin and author of Color Monitors: The Blackface of Technology in America, Dr. Kevorkian has been visiting The C.O.W.S. since 2009. We always appreciate hearing his views on White Supremacy in films and look forward his thoughts on a new set of movies. On this broadcast we'll review these four films: The Place Beyond The Pines (2013); The Big Lebowski (1998); I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore (2017); and Little Boxes (2016). Non-white actors have measly parts in these flicks as Melanie Lynskie, Jeff Bridges and Ryan Gosling take center stage. A major theme in these works - and most entertainment - celebrates White drug use, White violence and vigilante attacks. We'll pay special attention to the homoeroticism that saturates The Big Lebowski. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Days after Hurricane Harvey eviscerated the Houston, Texas area, Hurricane Irma - the most powerful storm to hit the United States more than 75 years - is poised to wreak cataclysmic ruin on the state of Florida. Flood damage and chemical leaks have left many black and non-white Texans in a state of dire emergency. Many of the victims have no flood insurance, which only intensifies the catastrophe. As with many emergencies, a number of Black Floridians and Texans were unable to escape the path of destruction. In addition to the hurricanes and a monstrous earthquake in Mexico, United States political attention locked on President Donald J. Trump's decision to end President Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allowed 800,000 undocumented children to remain in the country and work legally. Suspected Racists have seized on this issue; ther have been Whites marching and shouting across the land. Astute observers noted the path of the eclipse darkened some of the states with the tinniest black populations - think Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, Nebraska. The meteoric career of comedian and activist Dick Gregory concluded as he died this week at the age of 84. A two-time guest on The C.O.W.S., Mr. Gregory devoted more than a half century to addressing White Supremacy. Speaking of comedy, Racist Suspects are intensely targeting Missouri state senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal for social media comments where she wished for President Donald J. Trump's assassination. She's been stripped of all committee assignments and asked to resign. But the death of a civil rights icon and strange phenomena in the cosmos paled to the hoopla and hype for Saturday night's showdown between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor.
