    The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 09/07/19 Sep 08, 2019
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The so called Labor Day holiday was moderated with much of the Caribbean and southeast United States hunkering down in preparation for Hurricane Dorian. The Bahamas suffered extraordinary devastation with Florida and the Carolinas seeing damage as well. In addition to the massive storm system, the world focused on the passing of former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe, 95. Many White news outlets portrayed Mugabe as a savage "dictator" who hated Whites. No context is provided for Zimbabwe or his conduct. In Texas, jury selection begins for the White officer Amber Guyger, who shot and killed a black male in his own residence. #WhiteSupremacyIsWar INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

    The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 09/06/19 Sep 07, 2019
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our weekly forum on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This segment is specifically designed to improve non-white people's problem-solving tactics and revamp how black people think, speak, act and control emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've configured a code to reduce conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to call in with particulars. We are always excited and grateful to hear the experiences of "black entrepreneurs." Please, let us know how "working for yourself" improves your employment experience. We'll continue to review how attempted counter-racists can best utilize recording devices to solve problems without creating new problems in the workplace. We'll review Neely Fuller Jr.'s suggestion that we ask for things to be written down in the workplace - especially, when we believe Whites might be practicing Racism. We'll also stress the importance of saving important work-related documents. Don't expect Racist to help you replace lost materials. #WorkplaceRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

    The C.O.W.S. Toni Morrison's Tar Baby Part 2 Sep 06, 2019
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the debut study session on the late Toni Morrison's 1981 novel, Tar Baby. The first black female to win the Nobel Prize for literature, Morrison, an Ohio native, passed away this summer at the age of 88. In edition to editing a number of black texts and compiling an awesome body of written work, Morrison encouraged other black females and males to write - including Dr. Angela Davis. The C.O.W.S. Book club read The Bluest Eye back in 2012. We'll recognize her passing by returning to her work, this time to read Tar Baby. This novel is titled after the Uncle Remus character "Tar Baby." The term has been used a racist slur applied specifically to black children. This fable becomes an important part of the narrative. During the first week's session, we read about a strange black male lost at sea. He has no name and seems closer to a slave or escaped convict than free person. After a brief introduction to this fellow, we're moved the Caribbean collection of black caretakers and rich Whites. The Street family uses their wealth to import foreign animal species, hire black help, and insist that Christmas is celebrated properly. We begin to learn about tragic arrangements early in the text; Jadine, a black female, contemplates whether her White beau, "Ryk" likes her or is just into black chics. #ReadingIsMoreImportantThanWatchingTelevision INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

On a week when a star White quarterback retired from football to preserve his health, many continue to admonish the Tidal service founder for taking money from a league that flaunts racism across 100 yards of gridiron. An Oklahoma court ruled that Johnson & Johnson pharmaceuticals willfully practiced deception that greatly contributed to the so called opioid epidemic and ordered the drug behemoth to more than $500 million in compensation. In the southeast U.S. and Caribbean, millions prepare for Hurricane Dorian. #WhiteIdentityExtremist INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

No criminal charges were filed for Garner's death. Thousands of miles away in California, Assembly Bill 392, a new law that prohibits enforcement officials from utilizing deadly force unless they are in mortal danger, was signed into law. It's unclear how this change will be consistently enforced or if this will impact the number of black males terrorized by enforcement officials. #WhiteIdentityExtremist INVEST in The COWS – paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
