    Caramoan Episode 12 LF May 05, 2013
    Show notes

There is nothing like a double elimination episode to speed the game along. Based on your feedback, everyone was expecting Reynold to go, but ended up liking him given his overall performance, even if he was a bit of a clueless recruit. Responses varied more for Andrea, but one thing was clear, we really valued how she managed her exit and maintained a healthy perspective on the game. We are headed into the finale and several folks offered predictions for how it will play out!

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Ten fans shared their thoughts on episode 12 and predictions for what we'll see next. We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Kenny, Brian, Shelley, Sean, BostonMark, Josh, Drew, BrandonB, Trey, and Paul

SFP Interview: Castoffs from Episode 12 of Survivor Caramoan May 03, 2013
    Show notes

This week we interviewed Reynold Toepfer and Andrea Boehlke. They left the game in episode 12, which turned out to be a special double elimination episode of Survivor Caramoan featuring back to back Tribal Councils. Reynold got pushed to the outside on day two, but he never gave up and fought as hard as he could all the way to the end. Andrea was the polar opposite, always in the controlling alliance, calling all the shots, playing aggressively until it all finally caught up with her after coming into possession of the HII she worked so hard to keep Malcolm from getting. Listen to this special, double interview to hear about the injury that almost took Reynold out of the game, who was really in Andrea's final three, how they felt about their tribemates that quit the challenge for food and lots more!

    Caramoan Episode 12 May 02, 2013
    Show notes

We got a double elimination episode where one fan and one fav left the game. That seems fair. The fracturing of the majority alliance has finally started. They did great to hold it to together this long, especially if they made loyalty a center piece of the plan. Looks like Cochran, the challenge monster, met his match in the form of three hot dogs and a soda. We already knew that knots were a form of kryptonite for him too. As the self professed, last "independent thinker" left in the game, do you think he might be next to go? I hate to say it, but I think we're missing a challenge with tile breaking. Where's the pecking order challenge that will help everyone see where they stand? Will we get some of that from the family visit where the winner has to pick someone to join them? Do you think there is a chance that one of the fans will make it to the end? Who do you see as the most likely final three? Who are the least likely? Who does Erik need to eliminate next to improve his chances? Did Brenda go overboard with the three hour immunity challenge performance? Do you think Dawn can hold it together long enough to get to the end?

Here is the tribe after episode 12. Madeline:Cochran, Dawn, Brenda, Eddie, Erik, Reynold, and Sherri

    Caramoan Episode 11 LF Apr 28, 2013
    Show notes

It was going to be almost impossible for this episode to measure up given how great the previous one was. There was potential and opportunity to make it happen, but the odds finally overwhelmed the three amigos. Many were sad to see Malcolm exit the game. Others, not so much. A lot of fans think Cochran has a lock on the win this season. It should be fun to see how things play out with the double elimination episode pending.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 11 of Survivor Caramoan Apr 26, 2013

This week we interviewed Malcolm Freberg. He left the game in episode 11 of Survivor Caramoan. He made history playing the "Obviously Placed Immunity Idols" which removed the goat/guilt sponge from the controlling alliance, but his luck ran out when he was tasked with finding the first truly hidden one of the season. Listen to this interview to hear his first reaction to the other favs, what injury bugged him throughout the game, behind the scenes details on the three amigos tribal council shake up plan and lots more!

    Caramoan Episode 11 Apr 25, 2013
    Show notes

Cheering for the underdogs is fun, but the phrase "against all odds" often goes hand in hand with it. The odds finally ran out for the three amigos this week. Thirty days is a great run, especially when you spent all that time on the outside of almost all the alliances. We were hoping for more surprises this week to keep the excitement amped up, but were happy to see the auction and a classic Survivor endurance challenge that's balanced for everyone, unless you are smart and savvy enough to buy an advantage at the auction. Congrats to the ginger Kobayashi on his second Immunity win! What did you think of Erik and Sherri's choice to stay with the majority alliance? If you are fifth and sixth in a six person alliance, when is the right time to make your move for a shot at the final three? Who is your pick for final four now? Can you see any hope for Reynold and Eddie?

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 10 of Survivor Caramoan Apr 19, 2013
    Show notes

This week we interviewed Phillip Sheppard. He left the game in episode 10 of Survivor Caramoan. He started the game strong in the challenges, in the comfort of controlling alliance, and with high hopes of emulating his Survivor idol, Boston Rob. Despite his best efforts, he never quite achieved the harmonious result he had planned. He ran straight into a trap the three amigos laid for him. Listen to this interview to hear how he prepared for this season, how he felt about the things his tribemates said about him, why he did not shower off before entering the pool and lots more!

    Caramoan Episode 10 Apr 18, 2013
    Show notes

Wow, wow, wow! They actually did it. They said it would be a historic moment and Malcolm made it happen. Ok, maybe this season will redeem itself after all. This one had a little bit of everything. Everyone had a role to play in Episode 10. Dawn cried, brayed, lost her teeth, and cried some more. Brenda was a hero and retrieved the teeth. Cochran turned on Dawn and declared himself a challenge monster. Sherri made sure no one would consider her a threat in the challenges. Andrea declared her over confidence. Eddie stayed positive, and it payed off. Reynold dominated the challenges, again. Malcolm found yet another OPII, played two, and made a dream come true. Erik may have stolen the show when he switched alliances. What is next for the three amigos? Do you think any of them have a chance? What is next for Sherri and Erik? Do you see any advantage for them to switch alliances? Do you think Dawn will able to hold on? How will the season change now that Phillip is gone? Who do you think will save their money for the advantage in the auction? Who is in your final three now?

Here is the new, merged tribe after episode 10. Madeline:Cochran, Dawn, Andrea, Brenda, Eddie, Erik, Malcolm , Reynold, and Sherri

    Caramoan Episode 9 LF Apr 14, 2013
    Show notes

According to this week's responses, the standouts from episode 9 were certainly Dawn and Malcolm, but Andrea, Eddie, Sherri, Cochran and even invisible, serene Brenda had stand out moments. No one is buying that Dawn will end up taking herself out, but we all expect some fireworks in the next episode and hopefully, another blindside.
