This week we interviewed Rachel Foulger and Colton Cumbie. They left the game in episode 3 of Survivor Blood vs. Water. Rachel never gave up and fought through sweltering, 114 degree, tropical heat to the bitter end to try to save herself. Colton committed the ultimate Survivor sin and quit the game. Blood vs. Water Episode 3 Oct 03, 2013

The two time quitter is finally gone, and we will not have to endure any additional pseudo drama from him this season! That alone would be cause for celebration, but this episode contained a great, vintage challenge packed with intense rivalries and surprising results. Then, it closed with a fantastic blindside as our first "loved ones" couple is now at RI where they will now have to duel each other, for a chance to return to the game. What did you think about how Probst handled the quit? Does a castaway with a dislocated shoulder and possibly ripped tendons have a chance to win? Would you have been able to knock your family member off the platform in that challenge? How has your assessment of Aras and Vytus changed? Who has the best chance to make it back from RI? Who's in the best position to win it all based on what you've seen in these first three episodes?

Based on your feedback, this season appears to be winning more of you over. The loss of Rupert saddened his long time fans, but did not phase others nearly as much as it used to. The possibility that Colton might quit did not surprise anyone here. Most of us share BrandonA's sentiment and want him gone ASAP! So far, the twists appear to be paying off. Everyone's happy with the impact they are having on the voting. Episode 3 should be a doozy!

This week we interviewed Rupert Boneham. He left the game in episode 2 of Survivor Blood vs. Water. Rupert fans were surely sad to see him be the first to leave the island. In the past, Redemption Island was viewed as an attempt to keep returning players on the screen as long as possible, but this season's "swap" twist combined with his reputation as a four time player basically ensured that Rupert would be on the chopping block early. Listen to this interview to hear how he and Laura prepared, his thoughts on returning players, why he cast that first vote for Laura Morett and lots more!

Blood vs. Water Episode 2 Sep 26, 2013

Survivor is known for being a game that shines a light on who you really are, deep down at your core. This week, Colton's redemption story appears to have officially come to an end. He made it four days before he fell back into his old ways. The trend so far is for the returning players to score a come from behind win at the Immunity challenge. It may be unlikely for that trend to change unless we get a challenge that is primarily based on brute strength alone. What did you think about Colton's attempt to take control of Galang? Do you think he will quit? Did the Tadhana five make the best choice to target Rachel? Do you think Tyson will take the bait and step in to rescue her? Did John make the right choice to not share the HII clue? Were you sad to see Rupert go? Who will be the next to leave the game?

The verdict is still out for some of us on how the season is shaping up, but the majority of feedback this week was positive. Now it is time to see how you did with your JABBIC predictions and weigh in on what you think of the cast now that we finally got to see them in action. The power male alliance led by the math challenged NFL player/lawyer caught everyone's attention. Colton did not make any believers out of this group. Gervase seems to have uniformly disappointed. Few were sad to see Rupert and Candice head to RI, but the addition of Marissa was a disappointment to most of us.

Blood vs. Water Episode 1 Sep 19, 2013

Survivor's back for it's 27th season. The whole 0.5 day twist turned out to be a bit of a dud and basically just a vehicle for introducing the cast. We were happy to get 90 minutes to kick things off again though! There was no frantic searching for HIIs, just solid camp life and some extra insight into Ciera, Vytas and Colton's past. The returning players from Galang did great, but their loved ones really seemed to struggle with the basics. What did you think about how the returning players and new, family members did? Who surprised you the most? Did your impressions of anyone change after you got to see them in action in this first episode? Are you buying Colton's redemption story? Did Tadhana make the best choice at Tribal Council? Who do you think will be the first to exit the game from Redemption Island?

Blood vs. Water JABBIC Part 2 Sep 14, 2013

It's only five days till the first episode of Survivor Blood vs. Water airs. It can be challenging to recognize the new castaways at the beginning of the season, but we've got an answer for that to enhance your Survivor viewing experience. It's called the JABBIC, "Judge A Book By Its Cover", shows. We get started before the first episode airs and record our early thoughts on this new group of castaways as well as the returning "Favorites, Misfits, and Drama Magnets". Through this process, we find that at least a few of them will stand out from the beginning and it greatly improves the odds of recognizing your early favorites.

This is Part 2 of our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show. Sixteen fans, like you, recorded their perspective on the new cast including their choice of favorites, who's most likely to get voted out first, make the merge, have a shot at the final tribal council as well as who has what it takes to win it all.

Welcome to Part I of our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show for season 27, Survivor Blood vs. Water. We have recorded our early thoughts on each of the castaways including how well we think they will do in the overall game as well as their basic bio details to kick off another season of watching Survivor together.

Now it is your turn. We want to hear what you think about the 20 castaways that will be here to entertain and surprise us for the next 3 months. Caramoan Finale LF May 17, 2013

It is time to take a final look back at Survivor Caramoan. Most of us were satisfied with the finale. Your thoughts on the reunion show were very clear. It was a colossal flop. We all hope we never see that again. Pretty much everyone is happy for Cochran. The verdict on Dawn remains very split. Her gameplay this season was polarizing in a way we had not seen in a long time. One noble fan came to Sherri's defense. The teaser for season 27 was just plain vague, but we hold out hope that it will be awesome!
