#40: PTS 2 Begins (featuring rxlyaT) Jan 27, 2017

Show notes

With the 1.6 PTS process well under-way, #TeamSITREP bring you the latest news from the world of The Division with the help of @rxlyaT (Taylor) -- who is officially the first “SITREP Radio PC PTS Correspondent”. There is much to discuss, especially as some of the intended changes for 1.6 have not exactly gone to plan during PTS week 1 (but hey, that’s exactly what a PTS is for). The lads try to keep things as brief as possible because it is still very early days for the 1.6 build.
Hamish and Yannick (AKA Yamish) were joined by Fredrik Thylander for this weeks State of the Game, which discussed what was coming with the incoming PTS-Build (PTS Week 2). Mike, Rob, and Luke breakdown the latest influx of information this broadcast delivered and share what they think are the most important aspects.

Update 1.6 Details Drop Jan 22, 2017

Show notes

SITREP Radio bring you a bonus episode this week so that the team can keep you up to date with all the latest news about update 1.6 that has come out either from Massive or from ETF2 members over the course of the last couple of days. There’s still no news regarding when the next PTS will begin, but Massive dropped a very comprehensive statement out to the world on Friday that covered much more than most people were expecting.
Topics discussed during Episode 39.5 include DarkZone 7, 8 and 9’s new Landmarks, DarkZone Contamination Events, Exotic Weapons, Exotic Gear, a brand new Gear Set, PvP balancing, a Re-Working of Stats (such as Armour and Skill Power etc) a new “Legendary” difficulty for a choice selection of story missions and something that a large portion of the community find controversial = MicroTransactions.
Mike, Rob and Luke will be back on Friday with their usual weekly round-up.

#39: Massive's Last Stand Jan 20, 2017

Show notes

This week, players of The Division were treated to a sneak-peek trailer of the Last Stand DLC on Wednesday. It’s fair to say the hype got cranked up to eleven. Following hot on the heels of that was the first State of the Game broadcast of 2017, where Hamish was joined via Skype by Terry and Keith from RedStorm to discuss some of what can be expected from Last Stand, and the free update 1.6. Mike, Rob, and Luke sit down to digest and discuss the vast amount of news that has been released to the community over the course of the last 24 hours.
It’s fair to say that the hype in #TeamSITREP was at the highest level it’s ever been. The lads also give their opinions on what might come with further information that is in-bound over the coming days and weeks as today's news is not the all that's coming in The Last Stand DLC.

#38: State of the Dark Zone with Deep Fried Dave Jan 12, 2017

Show notes

ETF-Bravo is well underway, and the boys are hopeful that RedStorm and their very special guests will bring about a wave of exciting DarkZone and PvP changes for update 1.6 (and Last Stand?) that will make this great game even better. With that in mind Mike, Rob and Luke welcomed a very special guest to this weeks episode; none other than DeepFriedDave -- one of the original members of ETF-Alpha and a content creator himself (Rogue Agent Radio and Collecting What Remains podcasts).
#TeamSITREP were delighted that DeepFriedDave agreed to join their team for an in-depth discussion. The DarkZone, PvP, RedStorm Studios, Division-lore, the recent data-mined information, continued discussions with Massive since ETF-Alpha left Sweden, and the possibility of Year 2 content are all discussed, and more.

#37: Speculation Beyond The Gates Jan 06, 2017

Show notes

This week Mike, Rob, and Luke bring you news of what they’ve been up to in the world of The Division over the holiday period. There’s a quick round up of what they’ve been up to during the previous week, news of Survival successes (and fails including some runs at the aways challenging Incursion: Clear Sky), and a discussion about the latest videos SkillUp has released regarding the Dark Zone. The lads also discuss, sometimes quite passionately, the datamined information that has been released to the community via the medium of Reddit. They agreed before recording that they would all try their hardest not to get too hyped up over these details, but it’s an obvious fail.

#36: Remember When... Dec 30, 2016

Show notes

We’re smack bang in the middle of the Holiday Break this week, so there has been no maintenance or SotG from Massive. But the SITREP Radio crew would not let you go into 2017 without one last episode for the year. Episode 36 is a relaxed, alcohol-fueled look back at the evolution of the game from way back when the BETA was available, to present day version 1.5 with 2 DLCs out. Mike, Rob, and Luke give their personal highs and lows from their vast amounts of experiences in The Division, along with plenty of reminiscing of days long past in Division history.
Lastly, the SITREP Radio team would like to wish their listeners a very Happy New Year and we look forward to bringing you more content in 2017.

#35: PS4 Players Can Now Survive! Dec 23, 2016

Show notes

“Survival”, paid-DLC number 2, dropped for PlayStation 4 players on Tuesday, 20th December. Mike, Rob, and Luke discuss their experiences thus far, 48 hours in. There are good and bad stories both from PvE and PvP instances, tips and “things to avoid” from their runs - but the over-riding emotion is FUN.
As ever, the lads also discuss the latest State of the Game during which Hamish and Yannick announced that ETF 2.0 members had been chosen and the lucky few had been informed. It was also announced that they are heading off for their Christmas Holiday break and as such there won’t be another SotG until Mid-January 2017. Lastly, the SITREP Radio team would like to thank their listeners for 35 weeks of support and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Make sure to check out the lads over the holidays on twitch.tv/sitrepradio.

#34: Update 1.6 - More than a just a PvP pass? Dec 16, 2016

Show notes

It’s a laid back episode this week as the team share their latest experiences from a week of hitting the Dark Zone hard while the countdown to “Survival” enters single figures (just 5 days at the time of recording) #HYPED. In addition, the lads present their usual round-up from the latest State of the Game broadcast. Hamish was joined by two special guests this week, and it made for a VERY interesting watch as some initial news of PvP-based update 1.6 was announced.
The team would also like to aid in the advertising of the Free-to-Play “weekend” for The Division that Ubisoft announced exclusively for PC gamers. This began today (15th December 2016) and runs until 18th December 2016. Come and give it a try, you never know you might just get yourself a new favorite game in time for Christmas.

#33: Survival's A Bitch, Right? Dec 08, 2016

Show notes

This week the lads are joined by “@EidolonFox” from the twitter verse for a special episode discussing, in detail, the newest DLC “Survival”. This latest offering to The Division community is inbound for PS4 players on 20th of December 2016, with XBox One and PC players having had access to this expansion since 22nd of November 2016.
Mike, Rob, and Luke tap into Fox‘s relative wealth of knowledge and experience to share facts and tips for their fellow PS4 users, as well as those community members out there who haven’t purchased the Season Pass and are thinking of buying “Survival” as a standalone piece of DLC content. The team also provide their usual round up of the weekly State of the Game and latest news from various community resources. Following on from last weeks “honorable mentions”, there are nods in the direction of more useful tools and/or resources that the lads utilize.

#32: Maintenance & A Shed Load of Farming! Dec 02, 2016

Show notes

The free 1.5 update/patch was delivered to PlayStation4 users during the morning maintenance on Tuesday, meaning Mike, Rob, and Luke have had their filthy paws on it for over 48 hours now. Now that they’ve got first-hand experience of the new patch, the lads discuss what they’ve been enjoying and what they’re aiming to run with their builds if RNGesus is kind enough to bestow unto them what they pray for (If not, maybe Santa will deliver what they’re missing when he arrives in a few weeks?).
We also point you in the direction of some helpful tools/information, via Reddit, regarding Gear Set bonuses, max stat rolls for gear, where to find the new 1.5 Named Gear items and Spydr101’s excellent Gear Attribute [spread]sheet. The lads also quickly round up the news from this week’s State of the Game broadcast which highlighted more bugs across the varying platforms, as well as some stats from PC and XBoxOne user’s Survival runs.
