#59: Details on Global Events (featuring rxlyaT) Jun 09, 2017
    Show notes

SITREP Radio episode 59 brings you the latest news and views for all things The Division, with special guest rxlyaT or Taylor. Fresh from his experience at ETF-Charlie, we ask the YouTuber his thoughts on update 1.7, how he feels the ETF experience went, and what the future holds for the game we all love so dearly.
This week’s IFM (Ideas for Massive) was a collaborative effort where all four of the guys pitched in with points of view on something #TeamSITREP have mentioned many moons ago that they tentatively named “Faction Wars”. The premise of which is to re-capture the Light Zone/Main Map from roaming factions of, for example, cleaners who are taking over the map sector by sector until you make the map “100% safe” on a weekly or daily basis for rewards. Mike, Rob, and Luke believe an idea like this would breathe some much needed life into the map and bring PvE players a slice of new content that they are desperate for.
State of the Game was interrupted a few times this week, through no fault of anyone over at Massive (Thanks Twitch) so poor Hamish looked somewhat uncomfortable a couple of times. Without his trusty side kick to back him up, the first portion of 1.7 news was delivered by Hamish with the help of Tom and Mark from Reflections studio. Gabe was streaming a short preview of the current development build of update 1.7, and showed off the Global Events.

#58: The Road To Update 1.7 Begins Jun 02, 2017
    Show notes

ETF-Charlie is done, and therefore, the community is just waiting on official update 1.7 news. Well, everyone needs to put their patient pants back on as Massive aren’t quite ready to let those juicy details out just yet. We have heard a bit about “Global Events” and “Commendations”, but that is all for now.
Hamish, fresh from ETF-Charlie duties in Newcastle (UK), was back with State of the Game this week. Yannick, however, was not. Gabe sat in for him this week on what proved to be a very brief broadcast. The guys acknowledged that 1.6.1 did not fix everything they had wanted to fix, and the team are aware of a host of issues that they are working hard to rectify as soon as possible. Hamish also promised details of update 1.7 would be part of SotG “soon”.
Also, the boys will be taking part in the special one-day-DCW this Sunday (4th June 2017) in support of the Manchester bombing victims. Please please PLEASE check out as many of the community streams as possible from the DCW-fam and give generously to the official British RedCross and Manchester Evening News charity.

    #57: Update 1.6.1 Is Locked & Loaded May 26, 2017
    Show notes

This week the boys talk about their experiences with patch 1.6.1, which went live in the game on Tuesday. Loadouts were the BIG addition to the game, and they’ve been very warmly received by #TeamSITREP, as has the backpack size increase. Build chat was obviously a feature of this weeks show because of this addition. Build diversity went up a notch for sure. There was also A LOT of bug fixing in this patch too, as Massive tentatively named this the “Quality of Life” patch. The lads also give a quick nod towards the new iteration of the Speed Challenge they have been running recently, so pay attention to their Twitters for all the details.
Because ETF-Charlie is currently on-going in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK), there was no State of the Game broadcast this week. It will be back next week as usual. It was Mike’s turn for the #IdeasForMassive segment this week. He put forward his idea regarding a pre-set build variant/game mode within Last Stand, which seemed to go down very well with Rob and Luke. Let the guys know what you think of their ideas either via Twitter or send the guys an email to their official podcast email address.

    #56: ETF Charlie & Update 1.6.1 Nears May 19, 2017
    Show notes

There's a new segment of the show making its debut this week. The cheekily titled “Ideas for Massive” is a 10/15 minute portion of the podcast dedicated to ideas that #TeamSITREP have either previously mentioned on the show, or brand new ideas they have recently brainstormed. This week Rob aired his idea for a Control Point type event that could bring more conflict to Dark Zone server. In terms of their gaming, the lads have been doing some serious grinding of Exotic Items this week. Falcon Lost and Dragons Nest Incursions as well as Times Square and Napalm Legendary missions. Unfortunately for the 3 of them, RNGesus was not on their side, so Rob still needs his Shortbow Kneepads while Mike and Luke are still yet to receive Urban MDRs.
The State of the Game broadcast this week was another brief affair, but did contain some important and exciting news. Hamish and Yannick announced that Update 1.6.1 would be released free on all platforms on Tuesday 23rd May. This is also the date that ETF Charlie begins, where update 1.7 will be previewed and discussed, but also where update 1.8 will begin to take shape. Good Luck to all 12 members of ETF Charlie, and do the community proud.
Finally, in response to last weeks episode featuring Arekkz, #TeamSITREP launched a petition or rather a “community show of hands” to see just how many people want a Battle Royale version of Survival to be implemented into The Division. Click here to show your support. Thank you!

#55: Surviving Battle Royale Style (Ft. Arekkz) May 12, 2017
Show notes SITREP Radio are proud to present Episode 55, featuring none-other than Arekkz. For those that don’t know, Arekkz is a powerhouse on YouTube and Twitter, and has been covering The Division from the get-go. He’s also been very vocal through various mediums about wanting to add-to and improve-upon Survival. Survival is a game mode that #TeamSITREP love, but definitely feel could be greatly improved upon.
The four of us share a belief that a Battle Royale version or mode within Survival would be brilliant fun, add a great deal to the game, and also prove to be incredibly popular with the community. We talk at great length about this and other ideas we have had in terms of improving The Division, and helping to realize the awesome potential this game has. The State of the Game broadcast this week was very brief, with Hamish and Yannick squeezed into Hamish’s streaming “booth” due to network issues elsewhere.
The studio are hoping to finalize update 1.6.1 before the weekend now that the PTS is finished, with a plan to release either on Tuesday, 23rd or Tuesday, 30th May (providing no disastrous problems are found during 3rd-party certification). ETF-C invites were sent out minutes before SotG began, so congratulations to anyone that was accepted and good luck with helping to craft updates 1.7 and 1.8.

    #54: PTS 3 & A Teenage Mutant Ninja Backpacks? May 05, 2017
    Show notes

As ever, the lads provide their weekly round-up of all things The Division. They discuss their week in-the-game, give a quick shout-out to the winner of the latest #SITREPSpeedChallenge (new challenge in-bound next week), and come up with a couple of ideas for the outgoing Ninja Messenger Bike Backpack. That’s right, I said “outgoing”. The NMBB will be pulled from the loot pool once patch 1.6.1 goes live, with the dev-team wanting to re-work this exotic armour piece ready for a re-release during update 1.7. Anyone with any suggestions for this re-work please head over to the official Division forums and post away – the guys at Massive will be reading intently.
The State of the Game broadcast this week dropped somewhat of a surprise on the community, with the news that all backpacks will receive a retro-active increases to their capacity when patch 1.6.1 goes live at the end of the month. 120 items will be the new limit, up from the current 66 in order to maximise the effectiveness of the incoming loadouts system. Hamish and Yannick also announced that the application process for ETF-Charlie has now concluded, and those who are lucky enough to be picked for the workshops at Reflections Studio in Newcastle-upon-Tyne should be informed by the latter stages of next week.

#53: More PTS Changes Inbound for Update 1.6.1 Apr 28, 2017
    Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke discuss the 1.6.1 PTS patch notes as well as getting direct feedback on the test build of the game from Rob who has been playing The Division a bit this week on his laptop. Also, #TeamSITREP have applied for round 3 of the ETF.
As usual the boys give a quick-round up of what they have been up to gaming-wise during the previous seven days. There is also a gentle nod (or two) towards The Division Community Weekend 3 (DCW3), which is taking place this very weekend (28th-30th April). Please come along and show your support to as many of those taking part as possible. The previous two iterations were brilliant fun and really successful, and this time around there are even more community members involved which means DCW3 promises to be even bigger and even better.

#52: PTS, ETF, and A One Year Anniversary Apr 21, 2017
    Show notes

#TeamSITREP are proud to present Episode 52. YES. An entire year of SITREP Radio. Cheers to everyone that has listened to even a single episode of our podcast, interacted with us over Twitter or Facebook, or popped into any of our streams. We really do appreciate every single one of the interactions. And here’s to another year [cheers]…
As usual, the boys talked about what they have been up to during the past week. The three of them have joined the Overwatch world recently, so there’s been plenty of that. Rob, as per usual, has been playing Destiny, and Luke has been the only one of the three that is still running The Division on a daily basis.
This weeks State of the Game broadcast delivered news that the PC-only PTS for update 1.6.1 will be live (unless something goes drastically wrong overnight) today at noon-ish (21/04/2017). #TeamSITREP urge anyone who is taking part in the PTS process to provide as much helpful feedback as possible across a variety of activities. This patch is focused around bug fixing and quality of life, so the more feedback we as community can provide back to the developers the better.

#51: Loadouts, Seasons, Feats, and Prestiege? Apr 14, 2017
    Show notes

Mike, Rob, and Luke decided to spit-ball a few ideas regarding the “Feats and Seasons” that The Division will be implementing with their upcoming updates. The boys talked about possibly introducing “Prestige” type modes to the game, as well as a lot of talk surrounding the patches/emblems that were hinted at in previous State of the Game Broadcasts. There were also ideas regarding new a Exotic Weapon and a few new Exotic/Named armour pieces.
The lads also give a shout-out towards their 52nd episode next week, which will mark a full year of content-support. There will be another of their always-enjoyable drunk streams to celebrate, so keep your eyes on Twitter for the official announcements from #TeamSITREP. This weeks State of the Game broadcast also delivered the exciting news that update 1.6.1 would be coming to PC-only PTS “soon”.
Loadouts were also confirmed as part of the upcoming free update. This particular addition has been pushed forward from an intended July/August release to May, which is great news for the community as this is something fans of the game have been calling for since release.

#50: Change to the SOTG Inbound Apr 07, 2017
    Show notes

SITREP Radio is proud to present their 50th Episode. That’s right, 50 episodes of the podcast! Cheers to that everyone!!
The lads used this weeks episode to say thanks to a few people while enjoying a cheeky couple of drinks to celebrate the aforementioned achievement. There is also a nod towards the newly unleashed #TeamSITREP Community over on Discord, which is now up-and-running for like-minded gamers (across PS4, XBoxOne and PC) to join up and use as a friendlier, more productive LFG service, as well as engage in healthy, positive discussions about The Division and other games that may be taking peoples fancy (such as Ghost Recon Wildlands or Mass Effect:Andromeda).
This week there was a very brief State of the Game broadcast where Hamish (running solo once again) put it to us, the community, that he wants to revamp the broadcasts and basically asked us all for our feedback on how we’d like the SotG to proceed. There wasn’t any other news this week, other than a reiteration of the PC-only PTS that is in-bound ahead of update 1.6.1.
