When I asked this question on Facebook a woman left me a comment saying "well my motto is don't date and you'll never be hurt" ... I cringe at that motto. I also have empathy because I know it's coming from a place of pain.

For those that still desire a husband (my clients) - for me, it’s beyond the bitterness and the pain men left behind for me to crawl out of. Now, I’m looking more and more at my fruit and how my learnings are executing in my life. I moved past just being inspired.

Sis. The moment I realized that confidence had to show up in my actions. Everything with men changed for me.

We collectively HAVE got to stop running around trying to BE in a relationship. So blindly and violently failing at being single and then in relationships.

Think about it; in THAT situation-ship, marriage or some dude you're dealing with... you're so good at

Masking...
Sweeping things under the rug...
Believing that this is the 'hard' of relationships so it's 'normal'
This to shall pass...
Going to brunches with your girlfriends and performing happy...

Because no one wants to be the girl that isn't happy in her relationship.... so instead you perform happy and confident. How well is that working out for you?

The cycle of dating I was in was; we meet, it's "wonderful" ...I pass up red flags and start day dreaming on how great we could be. Then 2 years later it ends in disaster because I passed up red flags... THAT IS OVER FOR ME!! That was hard. That’s what I describe as hard.

I’d much rather be doing what I’m doing now when it comes to ‘dating’... it's easy for me. This what I learned on my real true journey of self love... self actualization. My strategy moving forward is building on a solid foundation.

God can become the center of your relationship but it does require that HE also wants that. Is God at the center of his character and identity? (Think of his behavior sis)⁣. If no-- then your prayers are putting the cart before the horse.

The problem is you don’t know who you are.

You don’t understand how to have a relationship with yourself or relationships. Especially with men. Especially when it comes to getting the relationship you want…. So you settle sis. Cause God forbid you be single. Single feels like a stain to you.
