I almost did it. I almost made it through an entire episode without my blood pressure and heart rate soaring through the roof. But, alas, we all work retail pharmacy and we're sharing stories so the frustration is bound to happen. Enough with the downer stuff, I'm SO stoked for this week and jumping into part 2 of "In The Trenches" with my boy John. He's an intern and gives us an idea of what it's like In The Trenches while still having school as a top priority. Of course I have to check in with you guys at the top of the show so we get into my potential jinx for covid shots, the omicron vaccine gaining traction, and another pediatric vaccine war story... and so much more. In The Trenches, Part 1 Jan 21, 2022

Guys. I can't tell you how excited I am to begin the "In The Trenches" series where I get to shut up and hear from YOU.

But first, I vent (of course) about how frustrating it can be for prescribers to e-scribe Paxlovid, Molnupiravir, etc without first calling to ask if you have it in stock. We also bring up the news that we might be giving out N95 masks to patients from the government (yay?). And, finally, we begin "In The Trenches" series by talking with fellow pharmacist Sam Sciotti about work before covid vs during covid. We also touch on vaccine appointment strategies at his pharmacy and end it with not one, but TWO patients of the week from Sam himself. It was an honor to talk with a fellow colleague who is with us every day in the trenches. Enjoy!

Giving 200%, Omicron-Specific Vaccine, Patient Interruptions Jan 14, 2022

Yikes. Not gonna lie, I was a bit on the easily-triggered side this week. I just left work right before recording... you get it. Still, such a great time hanging with you all, as usual! The Anniversary Of Covid Vaccines, Pharmacist Auctioneers, 4 Word Fix Dec 17, 2021

Welp, we have ourselves another Friday morning recording. But it was a BLAST, nonetheless. This week on the show, we talk about what it's like to get a compliment from a patient during a corporate visit (spoiler: it's the best). Speaking of vaccines, it's been exactly one year since the first dose was given, so that's insane... and also, in my opinion, a proud moment for us. Patient Impressions, Adult Boosters Officially Approved, I'm Getting Old Nov 26, 2021

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... as well as the end of our sanity. This week on the show we cover so much like impersonating your pts, those who are getting a vaccine and only roll their sleeve up to their elbow, and covid boosters officially being approved for all adults (hence the end-of-our-sanity comment). We also talk a creeper patient of the week at my pharmacy, several of yours (which never disappoint) and end with me venting that I'm getting old. Such a fun time hanging with you guys, enjoy!
