*Yawn* brought my coffee with me this morning and, since the last week of my personal life have been somewhat of a roller coaster, it's a bit shorter episode than usual. I may not have as much energy this time around but lucky for me, I have the ReTell Community and you guys NEVER disappoint. FDA Approves Pfizer!, Vaccine Mandates, All Survival Mode Now Aug 27, 2021

Friends! So glad you joined me for another week of pharmacy goodness. There's a TON to cover this week including: me whining about losing my intern, a wonderful Tech Of The Week, the full FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine, and my simultaneous disapproval of it's new name Comirnaty. Also, vaccine mandates have been announced for CVS pharmacy employees... what're your thoughts? I get to revisit my biggest annoyance = a dr with a god complex. And, finally, the landscape of pharmacy has shifted to FULL ON SURVIVAL MODE. Are you feeling this? You're not alone.

Feeling "Off", 3rd Dose Is Here, Vax Cards, Pharmacy Savior Aug 20, 2021

Friends. Comrades. The time draws near. Third doses are already upon us and it seems it will be available to everyone in the next 30 days. Feeling down? Already defeated? No energy left to give? You're not alone. This week, we get into 3rd doses, of course, but also the idea that it's okay to not be okay... and I throw in some self help tips that have helped me through the past year and a half. We also get into some shenanigans around vaccination cards and some hilarious Patients Of The Week. Finally, sometimes you help a patient with something easy, like obtaining a refill... and now you've become their pharmacy savior.

More Or Less Flu Shots This Year?, 3rd Dose Trickery, Stop Calling The Police! Aug 13, 2021

My heart was so sad, having to miss last week. But boy did YOU guys make up for it. In this make-up, jam packed episode full of pharmacy madness... we get into the following, just to name a few: an embarrassing story about me studying for the NAPLEX, if YOU think we'll have more or less flu vaccines this year, how sooo many patients are deciding to call the police on us (seriously??), and getting tricked into giving a patient a 3rd covid dose. We round it all out with the idea of standing your ground with some patients when you know you're in the right and a fantastic, wonderfully positive reminder at the end of why we do what we do... to help our patients.

"Merdona" Vaccine, Flu Shots On The Horizon, A Patient Apology Jul 30, 2021

Ohhh MAN, this episode has it all: a quick celebration that July is over, flu shots on the horizon (I know)... oh and I whine waaay too much about the heat and a possible 3rd dose IN THE MIDDLE OF FLU SHOT SEASON. Also, masks are back... so there's that. We have not one, but two Drs Of The Week. Spoiler, one is awful and the other is fantastic. Finally, some patients really give you the business and decide to apologize later for it. That's so great!... or is it? :)

Seriously?? How is this happening? Well this week I obviously spend most of the episode celebrating and thanking you all. We also get into pharmacy things like patients thinking we have a magic number to reach their prescriber and a patient who actually called the police on their pharmacy (what??) Lastly, we take a trip down memory lane and listen to a few clips of the FIRST episode of the show... mostly so I can make fun of myself.
