Podcast: Are YOU Ready? 2021 Is Almost Here (Get Your Free 2021 Business Plan Now!) | Tim and Julie Dec 01, 2020
    Show notes

Join us for today's Real Estate Coaching Radio show as Tim and Julie Harris discuss the next 3 points: 7) It is better to be exhausted from focused effort, versus being exhausted from worrying, getting ready to get started, imagining outcomes and doing nothing! All the growth happens in the doing. Often your imagination of how things will go is inaccurate but you’ll never realize that without taking action. 8) Practice random acts of kindness. If you have the power to make someone happy today, do it. With very little effort you can have significant impact. 9) Expand your ‘natural’ sphere of influence by building relationships with people who aren’t just like you. Go to events, even online events that you’re curious about but not necessarily comfortable in. Charity events, auctions, talks. Expand who you know and you’ll expand not only your mind but your business as well. Schedule A Free Coaching CallListen on iTunesListen on SpotifyListen on Stitcher

Podcast: Your 15 Point Action Plan To Make 2021 Your Best Year Ever! | Tim and Julie Harris Nov 30, 2020
    Show notes

Your 15 Point Action Plan To Make 2021 Your Best Year Ever! 1) Train your mind to see what’s right and positive. Are you overwhelmed or are you dripping with opportunities? Are you busy or are you productive? What are you telling yourself? Is it generally positive or negative? What’s your first reaction to daily challenges? 2) Your challenges are helping you grow in ways you can’t imagine. Adopt the saying ‘It’s too soon to tell!’ Welcome the opportunity to conquer new situations. You are the sum of all of your experiences, so be sure to appreciate each one as part of that quilt you’re weaving throughout life. 3) There will never be a day where all of your to-do list is complete, your voicemail is empty and your texts are all answered. Find peace by being mentally and emotionally strong while everything else is happening all the time! 4) You can’t control what people say and do. You can’t control everything that happens. What you can control is how you respond to it all. Practice 20 minute mental breaks before reacting. Don’t call someone right back, don’t immediately respond to texts emails. Don’t take so long you’re being rude but do take long enough to gather your thoughts and check your reaction. Are you reacting out of ego or out of compassion? 5) Stop waiting. If you wait until you feel 100% ready, you’ll be waiting the rest of your life. Do you wait all day til it’s time to stop working? Wait all week for the weekend? Wait all year for your vaction? Wait for everyone else to respond first? All that waiting is eating up your life energy. 6) Start replacing the phrase “I have to” with “I get to” whenever you catch yourself lamenting. So many activities we complain about are things others wish they had the chance to do. Not everyone has the same resources, options and blessings you do. Schedule A Free Coaching Call

Podcast: Learn How To Finally END Procrastination! | Tim and Julie Harris Nov 19, 2020
    Show notes

Are you ready to finally ready to learn how to END procrastination? Of course you are. On today's show Tim and Julie Harris share with you the next 4 points on how to overcome feeling overwhelmed. (How to end procrastination is point 7) 5) Set boundaries on your time and workload. - Have a real schedule at least in the am. - Make the schedule focused on 3 things that will get you the most bang for the back. If all you do the rest of the day is those 3 things you had a great day. Working out, supplements, contacts, setting appts, taking a listing, showing overt gratitude. etc. 6) Stop trying to solve others problems. - someone has an issue make them tell you their 3 best solutions to their problem and then they tell you what they think is their best option. - Stop being others Dr. Phil. Most people never want to be fixed but will be more than happy to take your time. 7) Challenge your perfectionism. Perfectionism is a smart way to procrastinate. Perfectionism can lead us to make tasks or projects bigger than they need to be, which can lead to procrastination and psychological distress. As things pile up, the sense of overwhelm grows, which can then lead to more procrastination and more overwhelm. Sheryl Sandberg famously said, “Done is better than perfect.” Know when “good” is “good enough” by asking yourself, “What is the marginal benefit of spending more time on this task or project?” If the answer is very little, stop where you are and be done with it. Part of this is also recognizing that we cannot do everything perfectly. Text Me: (512) 361-5121 Schedule A Free Coaching CallListen on iTunesListen on Spotify

As we round the bend on 2020 you are probably experiencing a mixture of emotions. This has been a strange year for everyone and its perfectly natural and normal to feel overwhelmed...and maybe overstressed. When you listen to part 4 of this weeks series you will self discover the clear and obvious path forward. On today's show Tim and Julie pick up on Point 3.. Realize that feeling overwhelmed isn't something out of your control. its actually a choice. - Great way to get control over something you feel is out of control is to take ownership. Ask yourself, 'how am I benefiting from feeling overwhelmed'? The obvious first answer is that you aren't. Drill down on that and you might self discover other answers like...by feeling overwhelmed you give yourself an out for doing things that make you uncomfortable... 4) Pinpoint (s) the primary source of overwhelm. Ask yourself the question, “What one or two things, if taken off my plate would alleviate 80% of the stress that I feel right now?” If it’s a big project that’s almost done, finish it. Or, if it’s the sheer size of the task or project that is overwhelming you, break it down into more manageable components. 5) Set boundaries on your time and workload. - Have a real schedule at least in the am. - Make the schedule focused on 3 things that will get you the most bang for the back. If all you do the rest of the day is those 3 things you had a great day.
