    Welcome to Protecting Your Nest with Dr. Tony Hampton. Georgia Ede is a Harvard-trained, board-certified psychiatrist specializing in nutritional and metabolic psychiatry. She has 18 years of clinical experience and served as a staff psychiatrist and nutrition consultant at Harvard Health University for 7 years. She has an important message for anyone suffering from physical or mental health problems: "the first place to look is your DIET."

    After sharing the story of her health journey, Georgia talks with Dr. Tony about self experimenting (N-of-1) with diet to find out what makes you feel good, how to work with patients so that they can implement a lifestyle therapy effectively, the science behind why the keto diet works and is good for our brains, nutritional deficiencies that often plague those following a vegan diet plan, how to make up for those deficiencies, circumstances in which a carnivore diet can be a good choice, anti nutrients, the importance of dietary fat for brain function, the demonization of red meat, and the problem with nutritional epidemiological studies.
