    55. how to build a foundation of healthy habits Mar 28, 2022
Show notes Hear me out, there are so many things that took me a long time to figure out, that I am happy about. For example, I'm proud that I didn't fully find out what I wanted to do with my life until I was 30. I'm also glad that I've had as many failures as I've had successes because what I've gotten out of all of that are lessons. But there are some things that I wish I would have gotten right the first time or around or at least I wish I knew about earlier. It would have saved me a lot of heartache if I just avoided things like dieting on and off or being frustrated with myself for not having it together. But guess what, everything I've learnt, I want to pass on and share with you! In today’s solo episode, I am talking about all the advice that has helped me become a healthier and happier person that I wish I knew sooner. 54. setting up your kitchen to make healthy eating effortless Mar 21, 2022
Show notes I know that I'm not alone in shaming myself in the past for not being motivated enough to be the “healthiest” person at all times. Obviously, that shame is neither appropriate nor helpful, but I am human and it’s easy to beat yourself up over small things. In all honesty, being healthy has nothing to do with what you eat, it’s more than that. Being healthy involves a routine, a lifestyle, observing your habits and your mindset. It’s a holistic approach that goes beyond obsessing over what you eat or didn’t eat. In today’s episode, I am talking about all things logistics when it comes to setting up your kitchen to make healthy eating effortless. I talk about what it means to be healthy, some of the problems we face when we try to create a balanced life, and why you don’t need all this fancy equipment to be successful in the kitchen. In this episode, we cover:
    • What does healthy mean? [0:20]
    • The struggle to actually plan your week [5:28]
    • Have a set of go to meals [10:55]

    • Some hacks and tools to make your kitchen life easy [20:49]
    • Why the Vitamix has been a lifesaver for me [28:07]
    • Creating the perfect kitchen environment [34:25]
