You’ll hear him talk about the early days of rock, his influences - Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino - and the first day he met Paul McCartney. Newly formed Led Zeppelin led by Guitar God Jimmy Page, bassist extraordinaire John Paul Jones, the ultimate frontman Robert Plant and the greatest rock drummer of all time, John Bonham released their debut album on January 12, 1969 and never looked back. From the opening of Good Times Bad Times. to one of their signature songs Dazed And Confused, to the heavy metal original Communication Breakdown, "Led Zeppelin I" was groundbreaking. The album contained elements of blues, folk, rock, heavy metal, innovative drumming and guitar playing, which included a violin bow.

Led Zeppelin was like no band before or since.

The Zeppelin Chronicles will be breaking down all of Led Zeppelin's catalog SIOL style. The guys who are all massive Led Zeppelin fans, will discuss their connection with "Led Zeppelin I", the album cover, the background of the album and finally all of the songs. They will then rank the nine songs. Eventually ranking the album and album cover against future Led Zeppelin albums that they will review.

Tunes & Tumblers: Adele and a Chocolate Strawberry (feat. Seafoam Walls) - Century Club 30 Dec 08, 2021
    Show notes

Century Club is your weekly shot of what's new in music. Every week, the Tunes & Tumblers team bring you a mini pairing of a recent release and a craft shooter to keep your quarantine interesting. Make all the shots to enter the esteemed club yourself.

Adele has finally blessed us with her long awaited album 30, so obviously we have hot takes. This week's Century Club takes a look at her latest stomp-clap power anthem "Oh My God." Pedro also cranks the sexy to eleven with a rich and creamy shot reminiscent of chocolate-dipped strawberries (hence the name).

Once we've gotten good and toasty, we invite Miami band Seafoam Walls into the studio to discuss their debut album XVI, dive into their unique blend of jazz, shoegaze, hip-hop, and rock that they've dubbed "Caribbean Jazzgaze," and bless us with an exclusive performance of their song "See." It's one spoonful of sugar after another today, lovelies. Cheers!
