Joe Ovies and Joe Giglio open the show with Duke's loss to Kentucky in the Champions Classic. A ton is going to be made about how the game ended for Cooper Flagg, but the game should be treated as the entirety of a freshman in a single night. Most pundits will still take what the Blue Devils have over most teams in the country. Meanwhile, the locals are already annoyed with ESPN's coverage of Flagg. The latest College Football Playoffs rankings are what they are at this point in the season, but it is curious how they're handling SMU. That's bad news for the ACC. Ovies and Giglio go back to the OG Sports Phone to hear from Duke football fans who are yelling "scoreboard" at NC State fans.

OG 290: NC State's disappointing football season gets worse | Panthers are the NFL's Grim Reaper | ACC hoops vibe check Nov 11, 2024

Joe Ovies and Joe Giglio respect the troops by doing a show and opening up the OG Sports Phone on Veteran's Day (but seriously a special shoutout to all who served). NC State's already disappointing football season got worse with another loss to Duke. With Dave Doeren now 1-3 against the Blue Devils, 6-6 against Wake Forest, and a potentially disastrous season finale against North Carolina...Wolfpack fans are understandably upset. Over to the NFL, where the Carolina Panthers won back-to-back games for the first time since 2021. The question isn't whether or not Bryce Young will remain the starting QB after the opening week, it's who from the New York Giants will have to pay for the sin of losing that game. In the Lightning Round, UNC basketball fans should be encouraged by how the Tar Heels responded to their opening half at Kansas. The show closes with a run through the OG Sports Phone, which featured a ton of F Bombs.

While the vibes going into the 2024-2025 season are positive, we can't truly transition to hoops now that North Carolina and NC State have seemingly put themselves in position to finish strong leading into their regular season finale. The question Wolfpack fans have? Where the hell has that offense been all season? Meanwhile, the ACC College Football Playoff math took a hit with Clemson's loss to Louisville. Can SMU be considered as the 2nd CFP team? And what does that say about the ACC? Over to the NFL, where the Carolina Panthers notched their first win in Charlotte in 322 days. After Bryce Young had his best NFL game to date, will Dave Canales go back to him versus the Giants? Back in Raleigh, the Canes remain one of the hottest teams in the NHL. The reason? Marty Necas has stepped up to be that dude.

They open things up discussing College Football Playoff implications from Clemson's loss at home to Louisville and SMU beating Pitt (00:30). Meanwhile, in the Triangle, North Carolina continues their post open date turnaround with another win over an elusive conference opponent (10:30). While there is a discussion about how bad things have gone for Florida State, there is a discussion about how UNC can close out the season on a high note for Mack Brown. Over to NC State, where the Pack dropped a bunch of points on an FBS opponent for the first time since 2021. However, it's hard not to think about future NIL discussions about CJ Bailey already (21:00). They close things with Duke's loss at Miami, where the Blue Devils managed to prove people wrong and Vegas right at the same time (28:00).
