As we age, our mitochondrial function declines, leading to a variety of health problems. But fear not, because in this episode, we'll be exploring the best ways to increase the number of mitochondria someone over the age of 40 can get.

So, how can we increase the number of mitochondria in our cells? One way is through exercise. In particular, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) has been shown to be particularly effective at increasing mitochondrial biogenesis.

Another way to increase mitochondrial function is through dietary changes. Certain nutrients, such as CoQ10, carnitine, and alpha-lipoic acid, have been shown to support mitochondrial function. Additionally, reducing the intake of processed foods and increasing consumption of nutrient-dense whole foods can also support mitochondrial health.

Conclusion: In conclusion, mitochondrial health is crucial for overall health and wellness, and there are many ways to support and improve mitochondrial function. By incorporating exercise, dietary changes, supplements, and therapies, it is possible to increase the number of mitochondria in our cells and support overall mitochondrial function.
