Why the Browns backup quarterbacks might be among the best in the NFL Jul 23, 2022

Show notes

On this weekend Orange and Brown Talk Podcast, it's time to talk backup quarterbacks.

First, Mary Kay Cabot drops some knowledge about the Browns' signing of Josh Rosen, how he fits in and what they expect of him. What do Ashley Bastock, Scott Patsko and Doug Lesmerises think of the move?

Then, Scott, Ashley and Doug run through every other backup quarterback situation in the league and compare it to the Browns. Are the Browns better or worse? That leads to a definitive ranking of exactly where the Browns fit in the NFL when it comes to their backup QBs.

It's a bit different to spend this much time on backup QBs, but given that Deshaun Watson will almost certainly be out for part of the season, it's a worthwhile endeavor to put the Browns in context. Thanks for listening.
