Welcome to Episode 81 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Marie White has a story that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Her child was abducted, and in today's episode she talks about trauma faced in having such a tragedy occur. Even though this was devastating and every bone in Marie's body wanted to give up hope and just sit and wait for her child to come back, she knew that she had to take action. She has since written 7 books and has a YouTube channel that has generated over half a million views. Nothing about Marie's story has been easy for her. She talks about how she didn't want to get involved with social media, but did it anyways. She talks about how 75% into every book she wrote she wanted to give up, but finished it anyways. She talks about how she didn't want to learn how to edit videos, but did it anyways. This is a huge part of why Marie's story is so incredible, and how she fits our "No Quit" mantra.

Welcome to Episode 80 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

The theme of today's episode is improvement, and as a college basketball coach, Tim Sweeney knows all about that. Tim's journey started in high school with a dream to play division 1 basketball. He wasn't the best player in his school, and not even close to being the best player in the area he lived in. Despite working his hardest, he received no scholarships or offers to play division 1 anywhere after his high school career. He ended up taking a position playing division 3 basketball with the University of Rochester, where he still wasn't the best player on the team, but he was so passionate about it which ultimately lead him to becoming a coach.

One of the biggest takeaways we took from Tim's story and interview is that "pain plus reflection equals progress." This is a mantra I know we at the NQL team will take with us and we hope you do too.

Welcome to Episode 79 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Danelle Delgado is an incredible woman and we are thrilled to have her on our show. As you know, the objective of the No Quit Living podcast is to inspire and motivate you to never give up on yourself or your dreams. Danelle truly is the epitome of our "No Quit" mantra as an incredibly successful entrepreneur. Life has moved incredibly fast for her - At one point she was married with three kids and a dog. After her first child, she was blessed with twins soon after, but this "perfect on the record" lifestyle wouldn't last forever. Because of money problems, she and her spouse ended up separating and she was forced to make things happen. She was given an apartment to live in for 30 days, and had that amount of time to build her business and support her family. She was able to tackle that through hard work and made it happen. After that, she was diagnosed with cancer, but she overcame that as well. Danelle talks about the importance of loving the "hard," because it's those moments that shape us into who we are.

Welcome to Episode 78 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Many of us either have been or will be in debt at some point in our lives. Be it student loans, mortgages, car payments etc. Though this is the case for almost all of us, not many of us have been or hopefully will ever be over $400,000 in debt. Dan Miller's entrepreneurial career started with just that. He owed a lot of money to the IRS and though he knew it would eventually resolve itself, that took a lot longer than he thought it would. There was a point in time where his wife was ready to give up on everything, but Dan took a different approach. He force fed his brain hours worth of positive and personal development content from people like Zig Ziglar, Norman Vincent Peele etc. This led him down a long twelve year road of digging himself out of that hole and becoming a very successful entrepreneur and best selling author. He and his wife definitely balanced each other out and Dan mentions that if he could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, he'd pick her every time. He also mentions that there are opportunities now that didn't exist even two years ago for people to become millionaires, and it doesn't matter how old you are. It's never too late to start a new beginning.

Welcome to Episode 77 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Like many of the other athletes we've had on our show, Justin Kavanaugh knows that the only path to success is to never give up. There was a point in Justin's life, where he was in an incredibly dark place. He fell off of a roof and broke his back so severely that he was left entirely handicapped. One of the rules his parents instilled in him from a young age was to never panic or freak out. Often times when we inevitably encounter tough situations, this is our first instinct and it's important to go against it. Though Justin recognizes that this wasn't a positive incident, he also recognizes that amount of growth he got from it and how much learning he could have missed out on if it hadn't happened. Justin is a very successful entrepreneur and credits this success to his philosophy of never being content with where he is, but always being content with the path that he is on. The journey is more important than the outcome.

Welcome to Episode 76 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

In today's episode Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Bregman defines success and talks about how to achieve it. For Rabbi Bregman, success extends far past just numbers in a bank account. To succeed, one must create a goal and a target, and hit it. Though, he is also very financially successful too, he talks about the fact that there are people who have more money than he does but that doesn't necessarily mean they are more successful. Rabbi Bregman has been broke, had his friends and family criticize his choices and decided to go against his family's dreams of him being a doctor anyways to pursue being an entrepreneur. As a man who wears many hats, he talks about how people who struggle achieving even just one thing will tell you that you can't do the many things that you may be trying to achieve. Rabbi Shlomo is a practicing lawyer, a rabbi, a speaker, a consultant, and a match maker. He is truly proof that you CAN wear many hats and do all of the things that you want to do.

Welcome to Episode 75 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

We have been trying to get Hal Elrod on our show since March of last year, so we are thrilled to finally have had the pleasure of speaking with him!

Hal's "no-quit" story is nothing shy of insane, and his positive attitude and story of overcoming depression is even more unfathomable. Hal has cheated death a few times now. When he was only twenty years old, a drunk driver going over 80mph on the wrong side of the highway hit him head on, causing him to spin out. This incident left Hal dead for 6 minutes, and in a coma for a week. Thankfully, he was able to be revived and despite doctors telling him his brain was severely damaged and he may never walk again, Hal is walking today and created the Miracle Morning Ritual - The perfect morning ritual to set you up for success, with an incredible community behind it. Hal's story doesn't end there. He also lost most of his clients when the market crashed in 2008, and battled a rare cancer that almost killed him once again, but today in 2017, Hal's business is thriving and he is in remission. He also talks about how toxic the concept of "perfection" is and that it doesn't exist outside of your own perspective. Using Hal's "SAVERS" morning ritual, your life will be set for happiness and success.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

There is not a single successful entrepreneur that hasn't failed and picked themselves back up. Before Tucker even tells his no-quit story, he makes this very clear and we can't stress this enough! Tucker Max is an author with multiple best selling books under his belt. He built his own email list of true fans before "email lists" even existed. In his no-quit story, Tucker talks about finishing law school and getting fired from his first job as an attorney. From there, he moved back home to work at his father's restaurant where he was also fired. That's right - Tucker was fired from his father's restaurant that he shared a name with. Although he wasn't the best candidate for either of these jobs, he found passion in writing funny emails to his friends. These were some of the first blogs to be written before the term "blog" was coined. Tucker's friends began sharing his work, and he knew he had a product of value. From there, Tucker took off - Sending his work to 1,000 different publishing companies. 950 of them didn't respond, and 40 of them wrote him personalized rejection letters back. This was then, and now all of those companies know his name and recognize Tucker as a missed opportunity for them.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

We are thrilled to have our first former NFL player as a guest on our show today. He is hopefully the first of many to come, and we couldn't have asked for someone better - Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman. Shawne's story embodies so much of what we talk about and believe here at No Quit Living. As a former professional athlete turned entrepreneur, topics like perseverance, accomplishing goals, failure and success are far from foreign to him. Growing up, Shawne didn't have much. His family struggled a lot during his childhood, and two of his houses even burned down because his mother couldn't afford to pay the electric bill and resorted to using candles. Despite this circumstance, Shawne worked hard and brought his athleticism to new heights. He got the name "Lights Out" in High School when he knocked out four players in one game. He eventually landed himself a spot on the San Diego Chargers after college and now runs his own "Lights Out" apparel brand.

Welcome to Episode 72 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Today's theme of the day is discipline. This is something that is 100% essential in the journey of any entrepreneur or person with any sort of goal or desired achievement. "Discipline is giving yourself a command, and following it up with action." - Bob Proctor.

Martin is a former IBM employee turned entrepreneur. He has technically retired four separate times, but has found his calling. When Martin first left IBM to start his own venture, he found himself in a position of having no success. It wasn't until he consulted another entrepreneur, seeking advice, that he was told to start a blog. Martin ended up writing a different blog post every day for over a thousand days, leading him to gaining millions of followers and features in magazines like Forbes and Entrepreneur. After writing so many blogs, writing Martin's first book was a cake walk. Our host, Chris and Martin discuss the importance of taking "No's" and having them motivate you to keep going and never quit until you get the "Yes" that you are looking for.
