    Show notes

Welcome to Episode 101 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

When Naphtali was thinking about leaving the educational world for the entrepreneurial world, he was hit with many uncertainties and fears. Naphtali made the conscious decision to tackle these fears and leave behind his steady income and job security for an opportunity to help others and find true success - By his definition.

In today's episode, he talks a lot about how important it is to learn from your mistakes. We at No Quit Living often say "ABL," for "Always Be Learning." Naphtali talks about the importance of being authentic in your learning, and how it's the best way to grow and improve. "Experience is the name given to mistakes."

Another theme of today's episode is how amazing social media and technology is today, but it is no substitute for a real and deep connection you can make with a person face to face.

    NQL 099 - Patrick Bet David Mar 01, 2018

Welcome to Episode 99 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Patrick Bet David is not a difficult person to find on the internet. If you type "Entrepreneur" onto YouTube, his channel "Valuetainment" is one of the first to pop up.

Happiness is one of the key concepts of this episode, and one that is so applicable to anybody. Patrick really has his philosophy of it down pat. He's had the amazing opportunity of speaking with legends from all walks of life - From Vanilla Ice to Milo Yiannopolous, and learned all of their perspectives on life to add to his own. Patrick's no quit story dates to when he was in the army, but was nicely asked to resign. When he decided not to, his higher-ups "nice" persona changed very quickly, and Patrick credits them for his no-quit attitude and ability to persevere through anything today.

Patrick also talks about his opinion on the current state of the educational system. He has very strong opinions about it, and whether you agree or disagree, there is no debating that he makes a lot of sense.

Welcome to Episode 98 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Isabel Hundt is certainly one of the more unique guests we've had on our show. She has been all across the globe, and her no quit story is actually about the struggle she went though in moving to the United States from Germany.

Isabel is a coach, author and professional speaker with a background like none other we've heard at No Quit Living. She is very hyper sensitive and this ability grants her gifts like color synesthesia and the ability to have out of body experiences. She spends every morning meditating for at least thirty minutes, and we think it's awesome that she's been able to channel her gifts into a successful business.

Her favorite quote is one I think we should all aspire to live by - "You are renegade. You won't do anything like anyone else, so don't even try."

Welcome to Episode 97 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

We at No Quit Living are so fortunate to have not only had Dayne Gingrich on our show, but his partner, Michael O'Brien on today's episode as well.

Michael delivered some incredible value today. He shares a story of a near fatal accident he was in, when a driver, who shouldn't have been driving, hit him on his bike. He suffered from horrible injuries and for a long time had a "woe is me" mentality. Though he had every right to feel this way, and be upset with the world and his bad luck, it wasn't until he changed this mentality that his situation started to shift. Part of the irony in his situation is that the doctor told his wife that if he wasn't in such great shape, the accident would have killed him. The bike was both his savior, and indirectly what kept him from dying.

    NQL 096 - Rahz Slaughter Feb 20, 2018

Welcome to Episode 96 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

The word "quit" does not exist in Rahz Slaughter's vocabulary, and this is why he is such a perfect guest for our No Quit Living podcast. Rahz was born without a muscle in one of his legs, making it shorter than the other. He lived his life limping, and was coined with the term "disabled." The amazing thing about Rahz's story is that he didn't allow his "disability" to disable him. Instead, he doubled down on his upper body strength and became an athlete by building different muscle groups.

Rahz mentions his favorite quote, which is a great one by Jim Rohn. It goes "If you want to change, change! You're not a tree." "Complacency" is another word that doesn't exist in Jim's vocabulary, because he always wants his life to be adventurous. He knows that if he's the smartest person in the room, he is in the wrong room. He calls this philosophy the Level Up Concept, and we at NQL agree that it's important to always be learning.

Welcome to Episode 95 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Dayne brought it today. It's tough not to be motivated and inspired by him. He mentions that there is power in the pain, and how important it is to be tough and outlast it. Dayne's no quit story goes back about ten and a half years ago when he prepared to commit suicide. We're very thankful that he didn't, cause if he had, we definitely wouldn't have had the opportunity to speak with him today.

Dayne's professional career expands through many different facets - From being a former professional tennis player to an entrepreneur. He talks about how important his morning routine is, and he follows it without any exceptions. The reason being, that by winning his morning he is prepared for any challenge to win the rest of the day. He also says that he never checks his phone or emails within the first couple hours of being awake, because it gives somebody else his power. Somebody else that needs something from him, and it's important to make your morning routine about you.

    NQL 094 - Chris Bolger Feb 13, 2018

Welcome to Episode 94 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Upon being asked if Chris Bolger has a story of perseverance where he was given the option to quit, but didn't, Chris laughs and claims he doesn't just have one story, but that's been his entire life. When was was young, he suffered from a horrible anxiety disorder that left him unable to do the things that he wanted. It was inherited from his mother, who rarely left the house while his father worked 4 jobs at a time. Chris Bolger was told that because of this disorder, he would never really get the opportunity to live a normal life - Let alone be successful.

Years passed, and things didn't seem to get any better for Chris. He was homeless for two long years and was in an abusive relationship. There was a point in time where Chris cried every single day for an entire year. The story of triumph can only be heard in this episode, but we at NQL take our hats off to Chris Bolger for overcoming. He went on to break two Guinness World Records, and start multiple businesses. One that had 6 figure months in a town where the median annual income was $37,000.

Welcome to Episode 93 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Believe it or not, Evan Money's actual last name is "Money." The irony of this is told in Evan's no-quit story. For a long time, the only "money" that he had was his last name. When he first got married to his wife, his net worth was in the negatives. His wife didn't know that at the time, but she quickly found out that they were in a situation they'd have to soon pull themselves out of. Evan, being not only the positive person that he is, but also the action taker that he is has since built multiple companies and found success in so many avenues of his life. He and his wife get re-married and go on a honey moon every year.

He and our host Christopher J. Wirth have a lot of common ground in both their desire to help others be successful and their philosophies on the importance of action and accountability. One of Evan's final comments in today's episode that sums up all of this is to drop the "bucket list" and turn it into a "take action now list."

    NQL 092 - Casey Moran Feb 06, 2018

Welcome to Episode 92 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Optimism is such an important trait to have, both in business and entrepreneurship and in life. That's not to say that bad days don't happen, as Casey Moran states, but his optimism is what has allowed him to become as successful as he is today.

Casey's first business was started in college. Like many people, he spent a lot of those 4 years binge drinking and partying. He designed a double shot glass that he'd bring to parties and it turned out a lot of students he'd run into there wanted his product. From that point on, Casey knew he was on to something. He put his head down and started working on his business. It ultimately ended up being really difficult in the beginning - He remembers his first year only making $5,000, and not being able to pay rent; however, through all of this he never believed that he couldn't make it work. Ultimately he ended up finding success at his first trade show and selling the business later down the road. Now he's in the business of personal development and spreading his optimism to his clients and people around him.
